The Lab is a bachata social that treats the dance floor like a creative studio, encouraging experimentation, focused practice, and confidence building. Dancers of every experience level are welcome to bring their moves, questions, friends, and passion for bachata. It is intentionally more hands-on than a typical social, offering space to drill, explore ideas, collaborate, and dance. The atmosphere centers on connection with fellow enthusiasts, growth in social dancing, and a supportive community that embraces all levels and all schools. Admission is donation based, with contributions made at your discretion, and it is not a free event. By taking part, attendees agree to the event’s anti harassment guidelines and its photography and video consent policy.

Enjoy a free screening of a horror mystery film. An optional $5 donation or a purchase from the concessions stand is welcome. The popcorn is touted as especially good.
