Puzzle fans of every age can test their skills in Pueblo at a solo speed puzzling challenge held at the Pueblo Community College Student Center. Each competitor works independently to complete a 300 piece puzzle within a three hour limit, with family friendly imagery featured across all puzzles. Check in at the event, choose a spot, and get ready for the countdown. Puzzles will be provided sealed and must stay unopened until the official start. Prizes will be awarded to the top three solo finishers, and every participant keeps the puzzle they complete. The entry fee is $23 per solo competitor. Registrations are nonrefundable, though they may be transferred to someone else. If attendance is not possible, the organizer can arrange for participants to receive their puzzle afterward. Box top holders and sorting trays of any size are allowed. Extra lighting and recording devices that do not require a power outlet are permitted if they do not disturb others. Free parking is available on campus, with maps provided by the college.

The Pueblo Water Lantern Festival
The Pueblo Water Lantern Festival fills Riverwalk in Pueblo with the gentle glow of floating lanterns. Now at the expanded River Walk next to the new boat docking building, the event features food trucks, live music, and other performances. Attendees may want to bring chairs, or use the smaller grassy area for blankets. Free parking is available in the Main Street parking garage and the Central Main St. parking garage, each about the same distance from the event area. The lantern ceremony and launch will take place during the event. Outside lanterns are not permitted, and the celebration is fire free.

A full racing program features Northern Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Sport Compacts, Three Amigos Plumbing Young Guns, TNT Farm Trucks, and Mod Lites/Classic Mods. Kids can take part in the Little Feet Bicycle Challenge on the small track at intermission, so bringing a bicycle is encouraged. Concessions include Pass Key on the Go and Ice Cream Sammie's, with Nana's BBQ serving in the pit area. Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and military, and $8 for ages 3 to 12, with free entry for children under 3. Pit passes are $35, with children under 3 free. Drivers competing in IMCA divisions must present an IMCA license.

The D shaped one mile oval includes 10 degrees of banking, offering a feel comparable to tracks such as Michigan International Speedway. The Drags Cash Days Shootout features open entry and elimination racing, with participants adding $50 cash to the pot and the final driver claiming the full payout. A bar opens in the evening to complement a stacked day that rolls from hot laps to head-to-head passes.

Drivers at any experience level can sharpen drifting skills through an interactive clinic at Pikes Peak International Raceway. Instructors cover the foundations of car control, then guide participants through structured practice with live coaching and ample track time. Training takes place on the infield, utilizing the C Course and the skid pad to provide a controlled setting for steady progress. New drivers must complete a PPIR Drift Clinic before they can take part in drifting at PPIR Festival events. Participants can earn a Beginner or Advanced Drift License during the clinic, and a license is required to drift at all PPIR Festivals. After the classroom and practice segments, the day transitions into an open drift session so drivers can apply what they learned.
