Presented by Imperial Crown Princep Thea Dacity and Imperial Crown Princess Anne Tikk of Reign XXVII together with the Imperial Sovereign Court of All Connecticut, this celebration of renewal brings food, cocktails, and a lively variety show to Black-Eyed Sally's Southern Kitchen & Bar. The showcase features community performers alongside members of ISCofAllCT and the International Court System. Net proceeds support the Reign 27 beneficiaries, including the ISCofAllCT Scholarship Fund, the CT Breast Health Initiative, the Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus, and Trans Voice 365, a program of the Metropolitan Community Church of Hartford. Tickets are $45 online or $50 at the door, and donations may also be made via Venmo or PayPal using @CTImperialCourt.

New Park Brewing hosts a monthly open mic in the Green Room, welcoming musicians, songwriters, comedians, and other performers. Admission is free and all ages are welcome, with anyone under 18 accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Reserve a slot online, or sign up in person if space is still available. Each participant gets two songs or roughly ten minutes on stage. A professional PA and microphones are provided, so bring your instrument, your voice, and your ideas. Whether trying out new material or stepping on stage for the first time, performers of all skill levels can share their work and connect with a creative community. This series takes place on the first Wednesday of each month.

Cheney Hall hosts the return of Steamroller, a heartfelt salute to the music of James Taylor. Led by Sam Hyman, who has taken this tribute across the country since 2019, the performance highlights Taylor’s timeless songs with careful musicianship and a warm, familiar feel. Hyman is a BMI songwriter and publisher and a graduate of Mercyhurst University’s D’Angelo School of Music. His background includes composing for worldwide music libraries, scoring for international television, and placing original works with Warner Bros. Music Group, and that experience shapes every note on stage. The evening goes beyond a simple hit list, weaving stories between songs to illuminate the heartbreak, hope, and searching that inspired these classics. The set invites sing along moments and close listening, celebrating favorites like Fire and Rain, Carolina in My Mind, and Sweet Baby James, welcoming both longtime fans and those discovering the music for the first time.
