Participants explore how caretakers handle tasks like hoof clipping, training techniques, proper feeding, and ways to socialize with animals. The focus is on practical skills and meaningful interaction with the animals in a welcoming, educational setting.

Music Bingo with Matty F at Hawk's Landing Country Club puts a playlist-powered spin on the classic game. Instead of numbers, players hear short song clips, and a video display shows the title and artist to keep everyone on track. There is no cost to participate. The event includes four rounds with a mix of patterns and categories. Round winners choose the category for the next round, and prizes are awarded in every round. Expect music and games alongside food and drinks, with chances to win throughout.
Hawk's Landing Country ClubBeginner-Low Improver Line Dance Class -7 week session
A seven-week line dance series at the Naugatuck YMCA welcomes brand-new dancers and those ready to build on the basics. Each class begins with fundamental steps and beginner routines, then shifts into a slightly more challenging segment featuring beginner‑plus and low improver material. New dancers are encouraged to stay for the second portion to explore the added moves. The full session is $80. Drop-ins are $15 and available only for the first two classes of the session. Advance registration with payment is required, and refunds are not offered. A free YMCA Community Account is needed to register; select the Naugatuck YMCA location, choose the Community option, complete the signup, then finish registration for the class.
