Taylor Produce and EatLoco Farmers Market bring a neighborhood market to The Stacks, offering a weekly pop-up filled with summer produce, meats, flowers, and more. Browse seasonal favorites such as corn, tomatoes, squash, peaches, peppers, and watermelon with an emphasis on freshness. The market is set up in the Corso and is open to anyone in the community. This week features Uncle Kebba’s Lemonade, Rooh Jewelry, Cocoi’s Sweets and Pastries, Olive Blossom Mediterranean Flatbreads, Alchy Cocktails, Pet Wants Falls Church, Saint Rocco’s Treats, Kimmy’s Kookies, Forever Adorned Jewelry, and Don Churro (truck).
SEEC Enrollment Tour
Get an inside look at SEEC’s programs for two and three year olds during an enrollment tour at the American History center in the National Museum of American History. The session focuses on the 2026 to 2027 school year, with eligibility for children born September 2022 through August 2023 for the threes group and September 2023 through April 2024 for the twos group. Attendees will learn about SEEC’s approach to learning for this age range, visit selected classroom spaces, and receive details about the enrollment process. These tours are intended for caregivers. If bringing a child, a stroller or carrier is recommended. Each tour is specific to one of SEEC’s three centers and to a particular age group, so please confirm that your child’s birth date falls within the ranges listed.
Smithsonian National Museum of Natural HistoryHIPS VOLUNTEERS NIGHT
HIPS hosts a recurring volunteer open house on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Volunteers help assemble outreach supplies, organize donations for the clothing closet, and take on other tasks that keep operations running smoothly. It provides a way to get involved and support HIPS’s work. No training is required.
