A classroom workshop then reviews the first video, with lunch provided off-site. After a dryland review and rehearsal on deck, participants return to the pool for additional instruction. This event at the new Petco store in Clermont features a meet-and-greet with a few of The Animal League’s adoptable dogs. Volunteers will be available to discuss adoption, volunteer opportunities, fostering, donating, and other ways to help The Animal League. If you connect with a pet from this location, The Animal League uses a best match approach to pair animals with the right homes, and the process begins with an adoption application. Cats housed at the store can be viewed during normal operating hours, but Petco staff cannot accommodate handling, so contact the adoption team to arrange a time to meet a specific cat. Donations are welcome and can be dropped off at the adoption center, the thrift store, or the wellness center.
