Centered on Juneteenth, this gathering celebrates resilience, the achievements of the Black Deaf community, cultural pride, and a spirit of unity. It offers a welcoming atmosphere with opportunities to network, enjoy entertainment, engage with the community, connect through visual communication, listen to music, share food, play games, and take part in thoughtful conversations. It is open to Deaf and hard of hearing people, hearing allies, families, and supporters who value inclusion, culture, accessibility, and meaningful community connections.

Doc Reno’s Wingsfest at Margate Sports Complex is an outdoor festival with live music and plenty of food, presented in support of the charity My Family Matters. Bread Zeppelin is donating time and music to the cause. Additional performances include Friday at Five, The R Train, The School of Rock, and DJ Taerock.
