This casual, beginner-friendly midnight prerelease tournament at Flynn's Hobby Shop offers an early look at the upcoming Pokémon Trading Card Game set Mega Evolution: Pitch Black. Participation is capped at 36 players. All play space is reserved for the prerelease, and spectators are asked to stand so tables remain available for competitors. The entry fee is $30. Each participant receives a Build & Battle Box that includes a 40-card ready-to-play deck, one of four stamped promo cards, and four booster packs from Mega Evolution: Pitch Black to build and play. At the end of the tournament, every player receives three additional booster packs. A reservation list will be used for entry, with check-in handled at the door by staff. Attendees not on the reservation list may be placed on a waitlist, and if openings remain they will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Staff cannot hold spots and friends cannot register on someone else’s behalf. To request the reservation link, send a direct message. Build & Battle kits are provided shortly before deck construction, not during registration. Players build a 40-card deck using only the contents of their kit, with the exception of basic Energy that will be supplied by the organizer. The prerelease consists of three rounds, and full participation is expected. Participants should bring at least six dice, a coin for flips or a translucent six-sided die that is slightly larger than standard damage counter dice, and Burn and Poison markers. Card sleeves are strongly recommended and can be purchased at the shop. Dice sets are not currently sold at Flynn's Hobby Shop, so bringing a set is required. Additional Build & Battle kits are not available for purchase during the prerelease window in accordance with official guidelines. Absolute Bon Jovi, a Bon Jovi tribute band, takes the stage on Field 3 for a night of singalong favorites. Activities include patriotic contests with signups near the stage, a Fun Zone with inflatables on Fields 4 and 6, and plenty of food trucks and local vendors. Adult beverages are offered in designated areas. Admission and parking are free, although parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. Families can pick up child safety wristbands at city tents, and Coral Springs residents receive Express Lane access at the Fun Zone. Guests may bring chairs, picnic blankets, beach towels, and coolers, but outside alcohol is not permitted. Scooping rounds to obtain the extra packs is not permitted and can result in forfeiting those packs, as active participation and the Spirit of the Game are expected. Plan ahead by bringing at least six dice, a coin for flips or a suitable translucent six sided die that is slightly larger than damage counter dice, and Burn and Poison markers. Card sleeves are strongly recommended to protect new cards and are available for purchase at the shop. A positive, sportsmanlike attitude is required. Additional Build & Battle kits are not sold during the prerelease window. If leftover product is available and the league qualifies for the Early Release Program, related items may be sold starting the Monday before the set’s street date. Inside Amerant Bank Arena, four World Cup watch parties put each match on the arena’s giant screen and add a festival atmosphere with food trucks, face painting, inflatable attractions, and games for all ages. The slate includes the United States vs Paraguay, Colombia vs Portugal, a quarterfinal, and the World Cup Final. Admission is free with a limit of six tickets per person. Parking is complimentary. World Cup Watch Party: Quarterfinals

Amerant Bank Arena hosts a World Cup quarterfinal viewing with the specific matchup to be announced. The plaza outside the main doors turns into a family friendly pregame area with food trucks, face painting, inflatables, games and more. Parking is free for the public. Inside, concession stands offer a fan friendly selection of food and drinks featuring international flavors from the countries in each of the four matches shown at the arena. A viewing for the World Cup Final is also planned at this venue. Broward County Transit provides special Park and Ride service to these watch parties and to designated match transportation hubs. Riders using a BCT One Day Pass may park for free at select Park and Ride locations, including Miramar, Sheridan Park and Broward Boulevard.
