Family events in Dade City, FL

Enjoy an evening of patio bingo in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Presented by CT Smith and hosted by The Greek Grill Bros Food Truck and The Production House by The Ice Cream Barr, the event pairs the game with plenty of food and treats. The Greek Grill Bros serves gyros, souvlakia, smash burgers, and Philly cheesesteaks, while The Ice Cream Barr offers homemade ice cream with seasonal flavors, Italian sodas, and floats. Kids can play in a large fenced-in field, and guests of all ages can spend time together over bingo, good food, and sweet desserts.

This outdoor workshop centers on campfire cooking as participants prepare a full breakfast over an open fire. Presented as Beyond the Apron Strings, it is a parent and child experience focused on building recipes entirely from scratch. Pairs practice mixing, rolling, and shaping in a format that is hands on, approachable, and truly collaborative. The pace stays simple and relaxed so kids and adults can enjoy the process without pressure. Each pair leaves with a handmade creation, confidence to make it again at home, and a shared memory that is about more than the recipe.

KRATE at the Grove hosts a full day focused on Jeep culture and custom builds. More than 300 Jeeps will be on display, ranging from clean classics to extensively customized creations. A Show & Shine competition will award trophies. Vendors will offer gear, accessories, and upgrade options. Raffle giveaways are planned, and food and drinks will be available. Participants may showcase their own vehicles or explore the lineup from across the community.

Students from every current ZHS class team up with local businesses to create floats. Spectators cheer them on.
