Congregation B'nai IsraelBirds and Mammals of Southern Africa
An Alachua Audubon Society Evening Program at Cypress and Grove Brewing features a presentation by Warren Nielsen. Titled Birds and Mammals of Southern Africa, it showcases a photo collage from a safari through Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. The images come from four camp preserves and show how, during the winter dry season, wildlife gathers at rivers, lakes, and water holes. The program highlights the region’s biodiversity and the importance of protecting habitats. Evening Programs are free and open to the public, and donations are welcomed. Drinks from the bar and food from a food truck can be purchased on site.
