Summer Camp - Week 3

Week 3 of L&C Artistry’s Summer Art Camp centers on Nature Tells a Story, inviting ages 5 to 12 to turn observations of the natural world into art and words. Young artists practice layered watercolor techniques, make leaf and bark rubbings, build collages with natural materials, and hone observational drawing. Each activity connects art-making with literacy so campers grow vocabulary, shape narratives, and communicate ideas with confidence. Across the nine-week program, projects also include painting, sculpture, comics, and STEAM, encouraging experimentation with tools and materials and resulting in original pieces to take home. The setting is supportive and fun, with a focus on creativity, critical thinking, and self expression.
