Serabee performs live in the gallery’s listening room, creating an intimate setting focused on the music. The singer-songwriter and pianist grew up in Louisiana and Mississippi, immersed in churches, juke joints, and tent revivals with a preacher father who played guitar and a mother who wrote folk songs. She began performing in clubs in New Orleans and across Mississippi, and her songwriting credits include work with Michael Bolton, Doug Morris, Craig Wiseman, Ben Margulies, Usher, Matt Serletic, Hugh Padgham, and Stephanie Bentley. A highlight of her journey was learning that George Jones admired her song Water Under The Bridge and talking with him about a duet before his passing. Community Day/Youth Cast Off

At Earl Gilbert Park & Boat Ramp, families and neighbors gather for a free community celebration focused on Earth Day, service, and time outdoors. Admission is free. 2026 Florida Construction Hike for Hope

Set within Panama City Conservation and Wetland Park, this Hike for Hope centers on the mental health of those working in construction. In response to CDC data showing the highest suicide rates in the construction and extraction fields, the initiative emphasizes suicide prevention education, intervention and postvention, aiming to encourage, equip and empower mental health champions in the workplace. Local stunt rider Dillion Cook and the Lowlife Stunts team return to Whiskey's Saloon for Bike Week with multiple opportunities to see stunt riding and drifter drag. The lineup includes a practice session, a dedicated stunt performance, and a combined showcase with a send off party. On site there will be vendors, live music, a full bar, nightly contests, burnout battles, and food trucks. Lowlife and Drifter Drag merchandise will be available, and the stunt shows are free.

3rd Annual "Derby Downtown"

Atelier&Co’s third annual Derby Downtown brings a beloved Downtown Panama City tradition back in style. This race-day celebration features specialty cocktails and upscale bites, live music by Jeff Bouet, and prizes with contests sprinkled throughout. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best Derby fashion, from fascinators and bow ties to eye-catching attire. Pottery Wheel Instruction Class

Explore the basics of the pottery wheel in a hands-on introductory class led by instructor Erin Kickham. The session costs $55 and is open to ages 10 and up. Only six seats are available, so advance booking is required. Expect a creative experience that may get a little messy as you learn. After making your piece, leave it to dry for 14 days and you will receive a text when it is time to return to paint. You can leave it for a second firing and later pick up the finished work you created from start to finish. Painting is optional and adds a fee of 50 cents per color when you come back to decorate your piece.

Burnout Contest

The Beach’s biggest annual burnout competition returns to The Bike RacK for the Spring Rally with higher stakes. Bacon’s Burnout Pit is the arena, and thanks to Throttle Junkies, the pit winner takes home $500 in cash on both nights. Riders who pre-sign up online receive a free gift bag at check-in. The Bike RacK spans 14 acres, is woman owned and veteran operated, and offers ample paved parking, live bands with a DJ keeping music going all day, and a full bar across from the Gulf. As an official Thunder Beach partner location, it provides an energetic setting for tire-spinning action. Space in the pit is limited.

Punk Rock Prom Diaper Drive

A prom-themed punk rock night at Mosey’s Downtown brings local live music, raffle prizes, and photo ops together to support a diaper drive benefiting the Family Service Agency of Bay County. The lineup features DJ Crescent Cat along with bands The Someday Maybes, Nothing Works, Pig Chicken Suicide, and Tarkir. Admission is donation based, and everyone is welcome regardless of ability to pay. Attendees are encouraged to bring a pack of diapers, size 2 or larger, to help the cause. Barefoot 22 ~~ Year 8 of 22

Now in its eighth year of a planned twenty two, Barefoot 22 gathers at Conservation Park for a 22 mile barefoot walk in honor of the roughly 22 veterans lost each day to suicide. It is a simple, open invitation to move with care on natural trails, share stories, and spend a quiet day paying attention to the ground beneath each step. This is not a race, not a fundraiser, and not a large organized event. Walkers choose their own distance, whether a single mile or the full route. The course begins at the main trailhead building, follows the park’s outer loop for about eleven point two miles, then traces the same path back to complete twenty two miles. Participants may join for any portion. This is a self supported experience, so walkers are expected to bring their own water, food, basic medical items, sun protection, and whatever else they need for a long day outside. While the main group may have extra supplies and the park offers restrooms, water fountains, vending machines, maps, and knowledgeable staff, the setting remains Florida wilderness where heat, humidity, open sun, and varied wildlife can make the effort challenging. Preparation and a steady pace are part of the journey. Set within roughly two thousand nine hundred acres, the park features more than twenty four miles of trails and boardwalks that wind through wetlands, forests, and cypress domes. Paths are sandy and sometimes rocky, used by hikers and mountain bikers, and home to abundant wildlife. Birds, turtles, and insects are common sights, and wetland zones can also host alligators, boar, and snakes. The terrain is uneven with sand, roots, and rocks, which naturally slows movement and encourages deliberate, attentive steps. Long distance barefoot walking changes the rhythm of the day. Early miles can feel intense, then the pace eases, conversations deepen, and silence stretches between words. What starts as a hike often settles into moving meditation, with attention shifting from the total distance to the present moment and the personal reasons for showing up. The walk began as a way to raise awareness for veterans and those living with PTSD, a purpose that remains central. Over time, people from many backgrounds have found meaning here, including veterans, outdoor enthusiasts, challenge seekers, mindfulness practitioners, friends and family supporting loved ones, and those simply looking for reflection on the trail. The effort has raised thousands for nonprofits and reached wider audiences through media coverage, and it continues to be fueled by care for veterans in need. A Barefoot 22 patch is offered to anyone who completes the entire 22 miles without shoes. The distance and terrain make this difficult, and only nine people have finished the full route barefoot so far. Many who succeed decide before the first step to go all in without carrying shoes, while those who bring backups often reassess around miles nine to eleven. Even so, the purpose is not competition. Every mile matters, barefoot or not. The project’s roots are captured in the short documentary “22 for 22,” which chronicles an earlier challenge of walking 22 miles a day for 22 consecutive days on these same trails, presented in a twenty two minute film with each minute reflecting one day. The long view is clear. This quiet, annual tradition is intended to continue for at least twenty two years, creating space to move intentionally through nature while honoring those who served. Whether it is one mile or all twenty two, arrive prepared, move smoothly, pay attention to each footfall, and let the trail guide the experience.

Soul On Canvas: A Paint & Poetry Experience

Soul on Canvas brings a relaxed, creative night to Glenwood Community Center in Panama City, blending a guided painting experience with live spoken word and a smooth mix of R&B and neo-soul from DJ BIG BOI. Hosted by Britt Reynolds, it also features curated local vendors and a photo-friendly setting, all centered on creativity, culture, and connection. Expect a welcoming atmosphere to make art, enjoy live music, and meet others seeking an alternative to typical nightlife. Early bird tickets are available and capacity is limited, and curated vendor opportunities are limited.

FREE Line Dancing Instruction

Learn some new moves at a free line dancing session presented by the Ladies of the Panama City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Open to all, the event features light refreshments and opportunities to win door prizes. The event will be held at A.D. Harris Learning Village.

Beach Brawl

This tournament will be held at Off The Hook Bar and Grill. Divisions for women and kids will be organized based on the number of entries.

4-H Meat My Grill

Ages 11 to 18 can dive into an interactive tailgate day camp focused on real-world grilling skills. Participants travel to Jackson County to practice safe techniques at the grill, build responsibility, and develop food preparation know-how. Guided activities include cooking beef, poultry, pork, and shrimp, with time to taste results and take part in friendly competitions. This experience is part of the Food and Nutrition project area. The fee is $100, scholarships are available, and participants should bring lunch. A county-level qualifying contest for the district competition is planned.

4-H Piping Skills

Ages 11 and up can spend a full day immersed in piping techniques at this hands-on 4-H workshop. Participants practice decorating and garnishing a variety of foods, including eggs, vegetables, cookies, and cakes. Instruction covers fundamentals such as swirls and circles, along with star-tip designs, then puts those skills to work on cakes and cookies. Everyone creates a custom dessert to take home and share with family. This session is part of the foods and nutrition project. The fee is $50, and attendees should bring their own lunch.

Summertime Next level Healing Event

Offerings include facial healing treatments and light and grounding sessions alongside Graton or cryotherapy. Event bookings come with the biggest savings, including 40 percent off cryo slimming ten session packages. Purchasing one or more packages unlocks a choice of bonuses, either one month of complimentary sauna access or four complimentary 60 minute ionic detox foot baths. Bay County Day of Caring

As a longtime hub for its neighborhood, Parker Elementary School is the focus of a volunteer effort to improve its grounds as a community partnership school supported by Children's Home Society. Neighbors, local organizations, and community members will work side by side to spruce up outdoor areas. No special skills are required; bring gloves or a rake if you have them, and simply come ready to pitch in. After a few hours of hands-on work, participants will be able to see the difference their efforts made, reflecting how investing in schools supports kids and the wider community.

DIVE with AS2 PROFESSIONALS / CAPTAIN HORNBLOWER

The plan centers on exploring a popular local wreck site, taking in striking underwater scenery, and watching for marine life throughout the dives. It is designed as a shared experience focused on wreck diving and time spent with a supportive dive community.

FLYING DOG OPEN MIC hosted by MATT LAW at FINNS + Little Village

Hosted by Matt Law, this open mic brings live music to Little Village in a relaxed setting beneath the palapa. Guests can grab a drink from the bar, explore unique gifts in the boutique, and enjoy tacos from FINNS Island Style Grub. Admission is free and the atmosphere welcomes families and pets.

4-H Energy Explorers Power Up Day Camp

Open to ages 8 to 18, this day camp explores how energy works and ways to use it efficiently in everyday life. Participants will visit the Walton County Extension office for hands-on learning and science discovery activities. The camp is sponsored by CHELCO, helping to lower the overall cost. The fee is $25, and attendees should bring their own lunch. A limited number of registration scholarships for Bay County youth residents are available by request.

4-H Plant Club

Geared toward 4-H youth, this monthly club explores the world of plants. Participants discover how plants function in the environment, learn to identify different kinds, and gain guidance on how to grow them.

FIFA World Cup Watch Party - USA vs Australia

St. Andrews Soccer Lab hosts a community World Cup watch party for USA vs Australia, with the match shown on a large projector screen inside the lab. A high-energy crowd of soccer fans, families, and players will be cheering for the United States together. Food and drinks will be available, and there is plenty of space to relax and take in the action. Part of a series of gatherings for every USA game in Panama City, this event encourages supporters to wear red, white, and blue and soak up the tournament atmosphere.

Hannah Bird Book Signing!

A book signing with author Hannah Bird, whose love stories carry readers through laughter, tears, and anger in a single read. Her work spans romance and romantasy, highlighting self-forgiveness, found family, and the strength of women’s friendships, often ending with a tender, bittersweet ever after. Influenced by dark fairytales and by love interests who would risk everything for their leading ladies, she writes flawed heroines who face difficult pasts and fight for their futures. She grew up in Tennessee, has lived in many places, and now calls California home with her husband, daughter, and two relaxed golden retrievers. 2026 STEMental® Summit

This free, fourth annual STEMental Summit brings together STEM learning and mental health, offering participants ages 10 to 24 tools to cope as they learn and grow. Programming takes place Monday through Thursday at the Student Union on the Gulf Coast State College campus, with an additional day on Saturday at FSU Panama City’s Holley Building. There is no event on Friday. Participant registration is required. Parents may sign up to volunteer, and vendors and facilitators also have registration opportunities. This camp centers on cheer, dance, and aerial training for cheerleaders and dancers, including those just starting out. All experience levels are welcome. The final day features a showcase for family and friends to see what participants have created.

At Callaway Arts & Conference Center, this fundraising dance showcase supports the Alzheimer’s Association and features performers from across the panhandle and beyond. The program includes belly dance, Tahitian, and modern or lyrical pieces, with more styles to come. Each performance is dedicated to someone affected by Alzheimer’s, honoring both those living with the disease and those who have passed. Guests can enjoy door prize drawings and raffles, along with food trucks and vendor booths in a family friendly setting. Additional information will be shared as plans are finalized.

Rise into a week-long aerial experience that blends courage with a touch of stage magic. This immersive camp centers on flying harness technique and aerial performance, inviting students to feel what it means to take to the air. Participants practice harness skills with guided lifts, develop clean lines and compelling stage presence, learn choreography inspired by lofty, enchanting movement, and build strength and control through themed conditioning. There is also focused character work, encouraging each student to step into a persona such as a rebel, a hero, or a misunderstood legend. The training goes beyond airtime, emphasizing precision, confidence, and the uplifting momentum of surpassing expectations. The week concludes with a brief showcase for families. Space is limited.

Jocko & Doug are back with an energetic live music show packed with great tunes. The duo brings a lively set that pairs perfectly with cold drinks for a night of music and good times.

Field Adventures by the Bay

Visitors and locals of all ages are invited to explore the marine ecosystems of Northwest Florida through hands-on activities with Field Adventures by the Bay. Participants can survey the shoreline of St. Andrews Bay with seine and dip nets, choose to snorkel in shallow water in search of marine life, observe live animals in a touch tank, use field microscopes for close-up viewing, and learn about sea turtles and stewardship. This outdoor program takes place along the waterfront at Papa Joe’s Bayside. All ages are welcome, minors must attend with an adult, and tickets are required for everyone. The cost is $15 per person. Online registration in advance and a signed waiver are required. Registration supports the organizing non-profit, is tax deductible, and helps send local students into the field for marine science adventures. Participants also receive a 15% discount at the food trucks at Papa Joe’s, and on-site amenities include coffee and café options, pickleball courts, lawn games, and live entertainment. Shell Show 2026 - The Gulf Coast Shell Club

At the FSU Holley Center in Panama City, Florida, the 27th Annual Shell Show highlights scientific and artistic exhibits alongside exotic and rare shells. Visitors can explore displays, browse offerings from shell vendors, and enjoy activities designed for children. Raffles feature shells and shell decor, and information about membership will be available. Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children, and FSU students receive free entry.
