Connect with fellow chamber members at an after-hours networking mixer hosted by Panama City Toyota, with support from Pier Park. Expect light appetizers and beverages while you build relationships in a relaxed setting. In partnership with Pier Park, the Chamber will collect back-to-school supplies benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County. Summer Art Camp for Ages 4-6

Created especially for children ages 4 to 6, this summer art camp at Panama City Center for the Arts invites young makers to complete a single art project while exploring painting, drawing, mixed media, and other age-appropriate activities. The focus is on imagination, hands-on discovery, and building confidence, with plenty of creative fun along the way. No prior experience is required, and all materials are provided. Space is limited, so early reservations are recommended. Cost is $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers. Classes, workshops, and series offered by the Center for the Arts are nonrefundable, and a waitlist is available if the camp fills.

3rd Annual Streamer Beach Meetup

The 3rd Annual Streamer Beach Meetup brings a weeklong gathering to Panama City Beach, Florida with live streams, time on the sand, and in-person activities. Look for friendly beach competitions by day and night streams after dark, all set in a creator-focused atmosphere centered on making memories. Out of The Box Art Studio

Charcuterie/Snack Board Clay Workshop

Led by instructor Erin Kickham at Out of the Box Art Studio, this hands-on clay workshop focuses on building a personalized charcuterie or snack board. Participants shape a board from raw clay, then add patterns with stamps, textures, and tools to create a functional serving piece for the home. Afterward, the piece dries for about 10 to 14 days while the studio completes the first kiln firing. Participants then return to add paint and glaze, with colors available at .50 cents each, followed by a second firing. Finished boards are picked up after the final firing. Beginners are welcome, with guidance provided throughout. The finished piece works well as a gift, a decorative touch for the kitchen, or a platter for gatherings.

Make a splash at Splash n' Dash, a swim and run event with age-based distances. The cost is $10 per person, and pre-registration is required. Participants 10 and under take on a 100 yard swim followed by a half mile run. Ages 11 to 14 complete a 200 yard swim and a 1 mile run. Ages 15 and up tackle a 500 yard swim and a 2 mile run.

Advanced-Adventure Certification

This advanced training program prepares divers to explore depths of up to 100 feet and operate confidently across varied conditions. Through focused instruction in key skill areas, participants expand their experience and build stronger proficiency and competence underwater. Pineapple Willy’s Summer Beach Cleanup

Community members, visitors, students, families, and business groups come together at Pineapple Willy’s for a recurring beach cleanup that supports a different local nonprofit each week. This edition spotlights Salty Farm Ministries. For every person who takes part, the Pineapple Willy’s Foundation contributes $10 to that week’s featured charity. All cleanup supplies are provided, and there are raffle giveaways each week. Attend three cleanups to be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing. The focus is simple... a cleaner shoreline and meaningful support for organizations making a difference throughout the season.

Callaway Cares Health Expo 2026

The City of Callaway Leisure Services Department presents a free community health and wellness expo at the Callaway Recreational Complex. The event features complimentary blood pressure and heart health screenings, diabetes and cholesterol testing, vision and dental checkups, and access to mental health support. Attendees can hear health awareness talks, take part in a blood donation drive, and connect with more than 60 vendors and community resources. There will be food trucks, a car and truck show, kids activities with face painting, and free giveaways. A free trolley is available between Callaway Walmart and the expo.

Take your yoga practice onto tranquil bay waters with a paddleboard yoga session. A yoga-focused board is provided for every booking, along with all required safety equipment. Find balance, connect with the outdoors, and move through a calming flow on the water.

Back to School Backpack Giveaway

Hosted by the City of Panama City at Daffin Park, this free community gathering helps local students start the school year prepared. About 600 backpacks filled with school supplies will be available for children of different ages. Distribution will occur in order of arrival while supplies last. Each child may receive one backpack and must be present to collect it. Families can also enjoy free food and drinks in a welcoming, community-focused setting. Support from event sponsors makes it possible to provide supplies to hundreds of children, encouraging a confident start to the new school year.

Coed Beach Touch Rugby Pick-Up

Enjoy a friendly workout and beach vibes with coed touch rugby at Bay County Public Beach Access 1. These relaxed pick-up sessions welcome adults 18 and older at any experience level, from complete beginners to longtime players. Play is limited to two-hand touch with no tackling, and the focus is on learning fundamentals, practicing game flow, building fitness, and having fun as the games unfold. This is a volunteer-run gathering, not a club or league, so there are no memberships or dues, no official teams or standings, and no referees or formal competition. No insurance coverage is provided, and participation is entirely voluntary at your own risk. Bring water, comfortable beach or workout gear, and a positive attitude. A heart-centered Reiki Share facilitated by Bronte of GOLDEN AWEN offers a calm space for connection and community. The Grand Lagoon Billfish Classic returns to Lighthouse Marina with an enhanced format that offers more fishing time and additional opportunities for teams to compete and win. Photographer Patti Blake leads an advanced Milky Way photography class on Shell Island in Panama City, Florida. A charter boat provides round-trip transport, then the group practices long exposure techniques along the shoreline under the stars with personalized guidance from a local astro-landscape expert. This session is designed for photographers who already use manual settings and can set focus to infinity. Participants should bring a camera, a wide-angle lens and a sturdy tripod, along with a spirit of adventure. Waterproof bags can be helpful, and shoes that can get a little wet are recommended. Panama City Ballet is holding a casting call for The Nutcracker 2026 at Tonie's Dance Studio. Dancers of all levels are welcome, and no experience is required. Everyone who attends will receive a role in this community production. Rehearsals begin with the setting of the ballet, followed by weekly Sunday sessions, with breaks on Labor Day weekend and the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The production then moves into the theater for daily practices leading up to a special invited performance, school shows, and public performances. Girls Gone Rx Panama City

Girls Gone Rx marks 14 years of empowering competition with a partner event that blends challenging workouts and a supportive, high energy atmosphere. Built around community first, it centers on women encouraging one another while chasing personal bests and celebrating every rep. The day supports Compete for a Cure, a breast cancer charity, with each team invited to create a fundraising page and have those efforts count toward the overall score. Teams take on four partner workouts across two divisions. The RX option is geared toward experienced athletes who complete workouts as written, handle a barbell with confidence, link skills like pull ups, double unders, and handstand push ups, and perform full squat snatches or full squat cleans at or above 95 pounds. The BAM division welcomes those newer to competition or functional fitness, offering scaling and modifications in most WODs, a friendly setting for a first or second event, and space to build experience with Olympic lifts.
