Boca Bash Cruise

Experience Boca Bash from a VIP party boat operated by Uncharted Waters, built for comfort, space, and great music rather than a packed shuttle vibe. The cruise heads directly into the action, then anchors in top spots so the energy, views, and social scene are all within easy reach. A licensed captain and seasoned crew handle navigation, anchoring, and safety, which keeps the day smooth while guests relax, sip their own beverages, dance, and enjoy the biggest floating celebration in Lake Boca Raton without stress. The vessel is run professionally and set up for an elevated atmosphere, with real onboard restrooms, a quality sound system ready for your playlist, and dedicated space for coolers and personal items so the deck stays comfortable. All required safety gear is on board. Expect excellent vantage points for photos and videos throughout the day. The outing spans roughly eight hours. It begins with organized check in and boarding to meet the crew, load drinks and snacks, connect music, and settle in. A scenic ride follows on the way to Lake Boca Raton. During peak hours the boat anchors among the main festivities for music, socializing, and relaxation, with swimming possible if conditions allow, while the crew manages positioning and safety. As things wind down there is time to freshen up and capture a few last shots, then enjoy an easy cruise back with sunset or evening views before returning to the dock. Compared with typical party boats, there is more room to move, a curated crowd feel, and clean, powerful audio rather than underpowered speakers. It is BYOB, so you can bring the drinks and snacks you prefer, with no lines or markups. Local captains who know Boca Bash position the boat where the vibe is best, creating a picture ready setting from start to finish.

Best of Broadway

A sweeping salute to Andrew Lloyd Webber and other Broadway favorites comes to the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center, with international countertenor Terry Barber and award-winning performer Shelley Keelor reimagining beloved numbers from Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Aspects of Love, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Les Miserables, Chicago, Hamilton, The Phantom of the Opera, and more. Barber, a former member of the multiple Grammy Award winning ensemble Chanticleer, is an eight-time Grammy nominee for his recent solo album Reimagined: Mercury. He has performed in 17 languages and appeared as a soloist on renowned stages including the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, and Moscow’s Svetlanov Hall. “Barber has star quality,” noted the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Keelor, a Silver Palm and Carbonell award-winning actor, singer, and international soloist, has led productions nationwide in roles such as Snow White in Disenchanted, Trish in Kinky Boots, and the Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd. The cast also features standout regional artists Brandon Glick on piano, Rick Kissinger on woodwinds, and Ian Wilkinson on violin, and select Florida performances include dancers from Preston Contemporary Dance Theatre. The production sets the mood with a replica backdrop of Paris’s Palais Garnier, the historic opera house linked to The Phantom of the Opera lore and its infamous chandelier mishap more than a century ago. That dramatic episode remains safely in the past while the music and performances take center stage.

Top Step Kidz Balance Bike Program

At Markham Park, Top Step Kidz presents a balance bike learn-to-ride series that helps children master cycling by focusing on balance first. Rather than using training wheels that hold the bike up and delay real stability, kids practice gliding and steering on their own so they build control and confidence. This balance-first approach supports a quicker, smoother move to a pedal bike with fewer setbacks. The program uses a calm, supportive progression tailored to each child, and groups are kept small to provide individual attention. Flexible start options are available. All equipment is included, with balance bikes and helmets provided. The series consists of five 30-minute sessions, and pricing is $150 for the full program or $35 per class.

Enjoy a feel-good yoga experience for all levels on the main lawn at Las Olas Oceanside Park. Settle into a slow, accessible flow on the green space with uplifting music to keep the energy moving, then sink into deep releasing poses enhanced by a light aromatherapy treat. The class is led by Lisa Pumper, E-RYT 500 and YACEP, a resident teacher at the LOOP who has been teaching since 2000 and is the founder of Ft Lauderdale Beach Yoga and YCFL. Plan to bring a beach towel or blanket instead of a mat, as the practice takes place on a firm turf surface that supports smooth movement and balance. Sunglasses can be helpful. A cash donation is suggested to support the teacher, supplies, and setup assistance, but it is not required and no one is turned away for lack of funds. RSVP and a participation waiver are required. Hourly metered parking is available nearby, and some street lots around the park are private with a daily flat rate. After class, The Market and the beach are just steps away, with local food and artisan vendors and makers to explore. Because weather near the beach can change quickly, organizers monitor conditions closely and share alerts.
