Scramble for Schools is a community fundraiser benefiting local Avon Park Elementary Schools. The event features a shotgun start and supports education in the area. River Greens Golf CourseVolunteer Day 2026
Volunteer Day 2026 focuses on hands-on help for a local sanctuary in Sebring, Florida. Participants will take on key tasks such as cleaning, shoveling and raking, clearing debris, and caring for animals. Roles are assigned according to experience, and a completed liability waiver is required. Dress for outdoor work with appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes, with boots or rain boots recommended. Bring water and use sun protection like sunscreen and a hat. Lunch and beverages are provided. By attending, participants acknowledge that neither Florida Animal Rescue Alliance nor the host sanctuary is responsible for injuries on the property. All volunteers are expected to act responsibly and to treat the animals and the sanctuary with respect, compassion, and care.
