Game Night on Thursdays
Thursday evenings bring a laid-back game night to Brooksville Elks Lodge #2582. Cornhole, card games, shuffleboard, and electric bowling keep the fun going. Attendees can play or unwind with a drink while reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones. The bar is open, and the kitchen is closed.
Brooksville Elks #2582🧖♀️ Skin Deep Health: The Secrets Your Largest Organ Reveals
Dr. Maria Scunziano-Singh, MD, NMD, DipABLM, leads a free seminar exploring how the skin reflects overall internal health. The session explains the relationship between digestive wellness and complexion, how underlying imbalances can contribute to concerns such as acne, eczema, and premature aging, and which nutrients, foods, and supplements may support the gut and help calm inflammation. The focus is on an integrative, whole-person approach that looks beyond surface symptoms to support clearer, healthier skin from within. Dr. Maria is board certified in internal medicine, trained in lifestyle medicine, and holds additional credentials in natural health. Her approach emphasizes holistic care, nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and macrobiotic principles to promote balance and wellbeing. The WellCome OM Center centers its programs on lifelong, balanced food choices and aims to empower individuals to assess habits and sustain improved health. Space for this seminar is limited. Accidents should be reported to staff right away, and the center is not responsible for injuries that may occur during activities. Programs may be photographed for promotional use; individuals who do not wish to be included are responsible for stepping out of frame or notifying the photographer. Events may be canceled if registration is insufficient.
