1 Year Anniversary Weekend
A one year anniversary weekend offers two days of activities. Friday includes a sip-and-shop experience with Downtown Brooksville Shops, a make-and-take bookmark craft, mimosas, and small snacks. Saturday adds more fun, with details to be announced soon.
Friday Fish Fry
Start the weekend with a Friday Fish Fry serving hot, crispy fish and flavorful sides, all prepared fresh. Enjoy an easygoing setting to unwind, catch up with friends, and support the local American Legion Post. Come hungry and share this community tradition.
Charles E. Murray American Legion Post 1862026 Hernando County Fair
The Hernando County Fair returns with Stars, Stripes and Carnival Lights, filling the midway with bright rides, classic fair food, and family fun. Free parking makes arrival easy, kids 3 and under get in free, and there are new rides to explore. Ride armbands are available. Each day brings something different. Highlights include Student Days with free admission for ages 18 and under with an armband and a lively barn dance. There is a truck and tractor pull, an alpaca show, a Senior Day with half price admission for ages 60 and up, a classic car show, rabbit and poultry shows, a beauty pageant, and bingo. Heroes Day offers free admission for teachers, military, police, nurses, and first responders. Car Load Night bundles admission and ride bands for up to six people for $65. Midweek Madness features buy one, get one admission, along with a fish show and a kid rave. Another day brings $3 admission and $3 rides, plus a hobby horse race and a beard and mustache contest. The festivities wrap up with a demolition derby and an open beef show. Retired and active military receive free admission every day during the fair.
Hernando County FairgroundsSpring Beats
A follow up to Winter Beats, this event spans 3.5 acres and features multiple DJ stages, food and merchandise vendors, and tent camping on site. Music runs nonstop from Friday through Sunday evening. More details will be shared soon.
