Bob G’s Wings N ThingsFAB Grantee Program: A Broward Center Summer Camp Production Presents: Nemo Kids
At the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center, a Broward Center Summer Camp production brings the Pixar tale to the stage in Finding Nemo KIDS, a 30 minute musical performed by campers ages 6 to 9 from the Performance Project and the Broward Center Summer Camp. The story follows Marlin, a cautious clownfish, as he crosses the ocean to find his son Nemo after he is taken to Sydney, teaming up with upbeat Dory, the easygoing turtle Crush, and the helpful Tank Gang along the way. The score features songs including Just Keep Swimming, Fish Are Friends Not Food, and Go With the Flow, creating a colorful undersea adventure in a compact format. Presented as part of the FAB Grantee Program. Lap seats are available for children 12 months and under at the Broward Center's AutoNation Box Office, and every attendee must have a ticket. Ticket prices vary.
Broward CenterTrail Lovers Movie Night
Trail lovers can settle in for a cinema experience that celebrates real adventure. The Florida Trail Association partners with Granite Rapids Moon to present a single night screening at Savor Cinema Fort Lauderdale. The feature chronicles a Grand Canyon expedition filmed the hard way, with cast, crew, and gear carried across 82 miles of hiking, so what appears on screen comes from true backcountry miles rather than studio shortcuts. A portion of ticket sales supports the Florida Trail Association and ongoing work on the Florida Trail. The event brings together the trail community for a shared appreciation of wild places and the people who trek through them.
