Hormone & Wellness Support Series

Hosted by Rooted Wellness and led by Christine Miller, a women’s health and wellness educator, this three-part support series offers a welcoming setting where women can ask questions, find clarity, and build confidence in navigating hormonal changes that influence energy, metabolism, weight, sleep, mood, and overall well-being. Rather than a one-way lecture, each gathering is a guided conversation that blends clear education, practical tools, and meaningful discussion so participants leave feeling informed, supported, and more in control of their health. Over the course of the series, attendees will explore how hormones shift during perimenopause and menopause, how stress and cortisol relate to nervous system regulation, and how to address sleep disruption, fatigue, and day-to-day energy. The program also covers weight changes and metabolism, sustainable wellness habits, nutrition and movement strategies that are realistic, and ways to build consistency without burnout or all-or-nothing thinking. Emphasis is placed on creating support systems, staying accountable, and cultivating long-term success. This series is suited for women in perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause, anyone frustrated by weight gain, fatigue, brain fog, or mood swings, those seeking trustworthy education beyond social media, and anyone who wants practical guidance and a sense of community during this season of life.

June 27 ACL Regional at the Moose - Bags Fly 9AM

An ACL Regional cornhole tournament at the Moose Lodge in Palm Beach Gardens features a full slate of competition for all experience levels. Play begins with Doubles Rounders for every team, with five games capped at 12 rounds, followed by three double-elimination brackets seeded by win and loss records across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. After doubles conclude, singles divisions take the boards one at a time with Tier 1 Singles for CPI 0 to 12, Tier 3 Singles for CPI 0 to 7.25, and Tier 4 Singles for CPI 0 to 5.75. If time allows, a Tier 1 blind draw will be added, with signups handled on site. This regional uses tiers rather than traditional skill labels, and eligibility is based on the ACL Cornhole Performance Index. CPI is a dynamic 0.00 to 12.00 rating used to place players in appropriate divisions. Players may choose to play up into higher tiers to pursue larger payouts and additional ACL Regional Points. Directors may reassign competitors to higher tiers based on performance, and creating multiple accounts to enter lower divisions is not permitted. Entry details include Doubles Rounders at $70 per team with a 70 percent payout distributed across tiers, 55 percent to Tier 1, 30 percent to Tier 2, and 15 percent to Tier 3. Singles fees are $35 per player for Tier 1 with a 70 percent payout, and $25 per player for Tier 3 and Tier 4 with 60 percent and 50 percent payouts respectively. The blind draw, if offered, is $20 per player with a 75 percent payout. Free or Club Level ACL members add $10 per player per event, and day-of registrations add $5 per player per event. Pre-registration is available online; look for Event Registrations under the Regional section by searching for Davis Streker or South Florida Cornhole. ACL Regional Points are awarded by tier, with Tier 1 granting 81 to 100 points, Tier 2 granting 61 to 80, Tier 3 granting 41 to 60, Tier 4 granting 21 to 40, and Tier 5 granting 1 to 20. Payouts expand as divisions grow, paying two places for the smallest fields and up to six places once entries are large enough. Food, beer, and liquor are available for purchase. Outside alcohol is not permitted. Chairs are provided, and attendees may bring their own. For event questions, contact Regional Director Davis Streker at davis@southfloridacornhole.com.

Madison Morris - LIVE @ Kickback Neighborhood Tavern

Madison Morris brings storytelling-rich Americana to Kickback Neighborhood Tavern, channeling a Texas blues foundation into a blend of country, Americana, and R&B/hip-hop. A singer-songwriter whose work has been submitted to the Grammys three times, his songs appeared on the Grammy consideration ballots in 2023 for “We’re All Still Here,” in 2024 for “Hard Rain,” and in 2025 for “Eve of Revolution,” with “Hard Rain” also earning a 2025 Josie Award nomination for Americana Song of the Year. As a full-time performer with more than 200 shows each year, he pairs vivid narratives with guitar work that shifts from delicate melodic lines to gritty leads and expressive slide. “We’re All Still Here,” written after displacement from Hurricane Ian, highlights his ability to turn lived experience into resonant songwriting. He launched Madison Morris & the Stringfellows in October 2024 and is a member of BMI and the Americana Music Association.
