Mysterious Art Camp

Young investigators in grades K through 5 spend a week unraveling a museum mystery woven through artworks, artifacts, and ancient stories. Each day brings new clues to find and symbols to decipher in the galleries, encouraging careful observation, critical thinking, and imaginative problem solving. Studio sessions turn discoveries into original creations in painting, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media while exploring how artists preserve history, communicate stories, and hide visual hints. Between missions, campers have time for indoor and outdoor play, plus snack and lunch breaks to recharge. The adventure culminates in a museum-wide finale when the case is solved. Full-day and half-day enrollment options are offered, and early drop-off and late pick-up are available. Early bird pricing is available: full day is $200 for AMA Reciprocal Level and higher donors and $220 for Artist Guild donors and non-donors. Head out for an overnight, two day spearfishing trip that begins on the reefs and moves into federal waters, with snapper as the main target and other species also in play. Advanced scuba certification is required along with a spearfishing course or verifiable spearfishing experience. Diving will follow a buoy style approach. Meals and snacks are provided on the boat, while travel and personal expenses are not included. A $250 nonrefundable deposit secures a place.
