Celebrate creativity across North Iowa with a self-guided tour that opens the doors to working studios, galleries, and other creative spaces. Meet local makers, see live demonstrations, explore a wide range of artwork, and learn the stories behind each piece. The route spans Clear Lake, Mason City, Sheffield, Ventura, and Northwood, showcasing painting, pottery, jewelry, photography, fiber arts, woodworking, glass, and more. Stops include intimate studios as well as vibrant community arts destinations, creating many chances to connect directly with artists. A featured destination is Art Farm Iowa in Worth County, which blends galleries, sculpture paths, mural gardens, workshops, and cultural experiences in a distinctive rural setting. Admission is free, more than 22 artists participate across three days, and maps are available at the Clear Lake Arts Center and other locations. The printed tour map also indicates which sites are accessible. Look for surprise guest artists and additional galleries along the way.

This course is required for anyone under 16 who plans to earn a moped license, and it also provides a helpful foundation for a future driver's license. Hosted at the North Iowa Fair & Events Center, the Veteran Stand Down in Mason City features the return of the Iowa Remembering Our Fallen memorial. The schedule includes doors opening to begin the day, an opening ceremony, and a closing ceremony to conclude the gathering. The memorial will be on site during the event.
