Spring Stock Your Cellar at Rudy's

This tasting focuses on discovering wines for upcoming summer gatherings. Four distributors present six wines each for a total of 24 samples, served with a thoughtful assortment of appetizers. Each ticket includes a Riedel tasting glass to take home, and there is a 10% discount on all featured wines during the event. Tickets are $55, and capacity is limited to 50 attendees.

Beginner Pottery Wheel Class

Learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel in a beginner class for ages 9 and up. The fee is $45 plus tax and includes instruction, three pounds of clay that makes about two to three pieces, plus firing and glazing. Reservations are required and drop-in attendance is not available. The instructor will be present only if at least one person registers. Class size is limited to three students, and participants can expect to get a little muddy while picking up a new skill.

Magic Valley Chorale: A Celebration of American Voices

Magic Valley Chorale presents a concert at the College of Southern Idaho that celebrates American composers and the voices of the past and present. The program features music by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Aaron Copland, and other notable creators. The Magic Valley Children’s Chorus participates in one of the performances, bringing an added layer of youthful energy to the occasion.
