At the height of the event a slim band along the upper edge remains illuminated, after which the shadow steadily retreats. The partial phase wraps up as the last darkness leaves the lower right, with faint shading lingering before the Moon returns to its normal brightness. The observatory remains open as the eclipse progresses, with telescopes available for detailed views as well as opportunities to watch with the naked eye. This activity depends on the weather.

International Observe the Moon Night
Look through telescopes at the observatory for a close-up view of the Moon in its waxing gibbous phase, about 62 percent illuminated. At this stage, angled sunlight casts long shadows that reveal craters, mountain ranges, and valleys along the boundary between lunar day and night. Take in a detailed look at the lunar surface and pick out distinctive features across the rugged landscape. Weather permitting.

It also covers approaches to dream travel, including how to prepare, ways to understand what dreams may be communicating, and techniques for influencing them for personal benefit. The focus is on fostering personal and spiritual growth and creating a greater sense of balance. This is a two hour class, and the cost is $35 per class.

Interlink Volunteer Caregivers is hosting its inaugural charity golf scramble, a day on the course dedicated to helping neighbors who need extra support. Proceeds sustain IVC programs offered at no cost, including free rides to essential medical and other critical appointments, installation of grab bars to enhance home safety, and construction of wheelchair ramps for accessible entry and exit. Because the organization depends on grants and donations, community participation is key to continuing these services. Players can look forward to a team-based scramble with contests, prizes, and plenty of on-course activities, along with lunch and time to connect with local residents and businesses.
