Artventures for Kids!

Krannert Art Museum educators and librarians from The Urbana Free Library present Artventures for Kids!, an interactive program created for children ages 5 and up with their families and caregivers. Each session begins with a storytime inspired by art on display, continues with playful gallery exploration that connects the stories to works in the galleries, and concludes with open ended art making guided by visiting artists drawing from the exhibition. It offers a warm and welcoming way to experience the museum, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and imagination for the whole family. Participants can listen, explore, and create together. Presented in partnership with The Urbana Free Library, with support from the Illinois Arts Council. Parking nearby is free on weekends. Accessibility supports are available to help ensure everyone can fully participate.
