Champaign Farmers Market
The Champaign Farmers Market offers a warm, family friendly afternoon with free live performances, kids activities, and a welcoming sense of community. This mid-week gathering centers on locally produced foods and artisanal goods for the CU community. Shoppers can browse vendors featuring meat, vegetables, fruits, microgreens, baked treats, breads, herbal products, handmade items, and more. A vendor map updated each week shows who will be attending. The market also supports food access through several programs. Link Match allows shoppers to use SNAP/EBT benefits, and WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks are accepted. Kids Kits provide a free recipe and ingredients at the last Tuesday market of each month while supplies last. Buy One, Give One makes it easy to purchase extra food for donation to a local food bank that helps families experiencing food insecurity.
