Items with power cords and metal materials are welcome, including servers, switches, PC towers, printers, landline phones, cable boxes, cell phones, wireless modems, audio and video equipment, holiday lights, home electronics, additional telecommunications devices, and lead acid batteries. Televisions and computer monitors of all kinds are accepted, such as CRT, console, projection, plasma, and flat screen models, along with dehumidifiers and refrigerators. Some items are not accepted, including radioactive or hazardous materials like oil, antifreeze, and paint, alkaline batteries, light bulbs, household smoke detectors, flammable materials, pesticides, oil filters, airbags, lead, mercury switches, fluorescent lights, explosives, firearms, ammunition, and shells. Non-electronic items such as tires, wood, asbestos, office waste, furniture, fiberglass, insulation, roofing, and dirt are also not accepted, and media like DVDs, CDs, cassette tapes, and VHS tapes will not be taken. Most drop-offs are free, with fees applying only to CRT televisions and refrigerators.
