At Columbian Park Zoo, the Critter Class: Playful Penguins introduces children ages 5 to 7 to wildlife through hands-on learning. Each session highlights a particular animal group, and this one centers on penguins. Participants engage in games, crafts, and STEM activities designed for their age, and a live animal encounter is part of the experience. Weather permitting, supervised visits to zoo exhibits may be included. Zoo Members receive a 15 percent discount on registration. A season pass discount is also available, offering an additional $10 savings when enrolling in all three sessions in the spring or fall in a single transaction.

LRD Solar Flares take on the Peoria Prowlers in a 90s themed home bout at Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds. This matchup marks the first home game for the LRD Solar Flares. Expect throwback style from JNCO jeans to plaid skirts and flannel, with a halftime moment that nods to 90s dance hits. Food trucks, door prizes, and other activities will be available. Advance tickets cost $12, and admission is $15 at the door. Children age 10 and under get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
