The course showcases a wide beach and lake access with a beach house for the swim, rolling and quiet roads for the bike, and a shaded park finish, with convenient parking close to transition. The Sprint triathlon includes a 500 yard swim, a 12.5 mile bike, and a 3.1 mile run. The Olympic triathlon includes a 1650 yard swim, a 25 mile bike, and a 6.2 mile run. Participants receive custom finisher medals and a race shirt, with overall and age group awards, plus USAT state championship awards. With more than four decades of triathlon history at this venue and many lodging and dining choices nearby, it blends tradition, convenience, and a course designed for a smooth race experience.
