7th Annual Juneteenth Muncie Celebration

Now in its seventh year, this Juneteenth celebration brings the community together to honor the past and look ahead with purpose. The program centers on engagement, education, and empowerment, offering a free and inclusive experience for all ages. Attendees can enjoy complimentary food and beverages while supplies last, along with live music, a variety of entertainers, and family-friendly activities. The event also features vendors, community information tables, and a Wellness Village that highlights health and well-being resources. Everyone is welcome, and sponsorship opportunities are available.

June 20th Modern $1K RCQ

Hosted by Next Level Games, this U.S. Regional Championship Qualifier for the 2025–26 Season 5, Round 1 features Modern format play at Competitive Rules Enforcement. The tournament consists of five Swiss rounds followed by a Top 8 playoff, and decklists are mandatory. Entry is $35, and the cash prize pool scales with attendance, with 100 percent of entry fees paid out. Prizes are allocated as 40 percent of the pool plus an RC invitation to first place, 20 percent to second, 10 percent each to third and fourth, and 5 percent each to fifth through eighth. Promo cards are included, with a foil Sowing Mycospawn for the winner, a Sowing Mycospawn for each Top 8 competitor, and Ancient Stirrings for all participants. First place also earns an invitation to the Regional Championship at SCG CON Baltimore or Los Angeles.

Design and make a patriotic door decoration in the Design Lab. Participants will assemble, glue, and paint pieces produced on the lab's Glowforge. Attend solo or with a few friends. No experience is required, and all supplies and equipment are provided.

Gundam Learn To Play

Discover Gundam with a beginner-friendly learn-to-play session created for first-time players. The event is free and focuses on teaching the basics. Participants receive a ready-to-play demo deck and a participation promo pack while supplies last, along with help from experienced players. Instruction begins with hands-on play using your deck, with questions answered and guidance through your first games. Once you are comfortable, you can try each half of the deck to explore more of what the game offers. No prior experience is needed. Space is limited, so arriving early is recommended to secure a spot.

Gundam Card Game - Constructed Tournament

Next Level Games presents a weekly constructed tournament for the Gundam Card Game with head-to-head Swiss play in best of one matches. Players bring a 50 card main deck and a 10 card resource deck that follow standard construction rules, using only official English cards with no proxies or foreign language cards and a maximum of four copies of any card. Rounds are 30 minutes with three additional turns if time is called, and the total number of rounds depends on attendance, usually three to four. Entry is 15 dollars per player. Prize support awards a booster box to the champion, and all other participants earn one booster pack for each match win. If product is unavailable, all entry fees are returned as store credit, split 50 percent to first, 30 percent to second, and 10 percent each to third and fourth.

Value Vintage Tournament

Take part in a Vintage-format tournament designed with budget-conscious play in mind. Entry is $10, and the full entry pool is returned as store credit. The top four finishers share the prize pool, with 40% to first place, 25% to second, 20% to third, and 15% to fourth. Participants earn promo points too: one for entering, two for a win, and one for a loss or draw, all redeemable through the promo binder. The focus is on keeping the competition engaging and accessible, with all fees going back to the players.

Hank Haggard and the TN Werewolves take the stage at Guardian Brewing Co. with a lively mix of traditional country favorites and rockabilly energy. The set features familiar classics delivered with a rowdy rockabilly spirit.

Standard Showdown

Compete in a standard format tournament at Next Level Games. Matches use Swiss pairings and are played best of three. The entry fee is $13, and preregistration is available in store or online. Prize support scales with attendance, with three booster packs added to the pool for every entry. The winner selects from the three most recent standard sets for the packs that go into the pool, and the top three finishers split the packs 60 percent, 25 percent, and 15 percent. The winner also receives one Carnage, Crimson Chaos while supplies last. All participants earn Promo Points that can be redeemed for promos, with three points for entering, two points for a win, and one point for a loss or draw.

Members bring their dads to their usual class, and there is also a free self-defense session for dads open to the community. Suitable for experienced students as well as those trying martial arts for the first time.

Fused Glass Pendant

Explore glass fusing in a hands-on workshop focused on creating a small, custom pendant. Participants learn foundational techniques while arranging precut fusible glass into their own design. All supplies are provided on site, from tools and materials to mini kilns, and each piece is fired during the session. Everyone leaves with a finished pendant that is ready to wear or to give as a gift.

🎱 600 & Under FargoRate 8-Ball Tournament

The Hoosier Open Tour brings a 600-and-under FargoRate 8-ball tournament to Big Shots Pub in Muncie, offering developing and mid-level players a serious competitive setting. Players with a FargoRate of 600 or below are eligible, and ratings must be established or verifiable. Entry is $120, and the field is limited to 64 competitors. Matches follow BCA rules with winner breaks, and FargoRate is used for both eligibility and reporting. Races are built around a race to 5, with the higher-rated player required to win one additional game for every 75 points of rating difference, up to three extra games. Final race details will be confirmed at the player meeting. Expect a lively room with quality tables, good food, and an enthusiastic crowd, and spectators are welcome. Advanced Buoyancy Diver

The SDI Advanced Buoyancy course builds a deeper understanding of how buoyancy behaves underwater and teaches techniques for moving with ease and purpose. Participants focus on fine control that leads to a satisfying sense of progress, greater enjoyment, and a more natural connection with the underwater environment. The class includes e-learning to be completed in advance, followed by a quarry session with two dives.

The peaches are grown near Fort Valley, Georgia and are delivered straight from the source. Approximately 20 pounds of Georgia peaches are offered for $45, and about 10 pounds of dark Bing cherries are available for $45. Casual Commander Night

This relaxed Commander gathering at Next Level Games in Muncie has no entry fee. Attendees receive one raffle ticket at check-in, and a single drawing wraps up the evening with the number of winners increasing as attendance grows. For every eight players, another winner is added. Those selected spin the Commander Prize Wheel for a chance at rewards that can include play boosters, collector boosters, store credit, sleeves and accessories, commander staples, promo cards, mystery prizes, and more. This free community event in the gardens also shares simple ways to make a difference for pollinators at home.

Hosted at Player's Club Golf Course, the Greater Muncie Chamber of Commerce presents its largest networking event on the golf course. The Chamber Cup features on-course hole sponsors adding fun, side games, and many opportunities to connect with others. Up to 80 teams will compete across three flights spread over two days. Team registration is $400 and includes a foursome, greens fees, a cart, refreshments, lunch, prizes, and team photos, with optional skins and mulligans available.

Summer Blast Enrollment Day

This evening event offers guided school tours, on-site enrollment assistance, inflatable attractions, and sno cones, along with time to meet staff and connect with other families. It is open to returning families, new enrollees, and anyone who is simply curious about Inspire.

Bring a Tokyo Ghoul deck and aim for top honors and special rewards. The entry fee is $6, and participation is capped at eight players. Matches are best of one in a constructed format. Shipyard Skills: Learn to Dimension Lumber with the Jointer & Planer

Maker space members are invited to a hands-on workshop that focuses on turning rough-sawn lumber into flat, square, consistently sized boards using the jointer and planer. Instruction covers safe operation, machine setup, reading grain, and the step-by-step sequence to joint a flat face, square an edge, and plane to the final thickness. Through guided practice, participants learn how these tools work together and how to reduce issues such as tear-out and snipe. The session welcomes beginners and anyone aiming to improve accuracy and efficiency in their woodworking. No prior experience with a jointer or planer is required, though a basic understanding of shop safety is recommended.

Welcome To The Kingdom - Cookie Run Learn to Play Event

Step into the Cookie Kingdom for a Cookie Run Braverse tournament with a learn-to-play focus. Each participant receives a beginner starter deck to use, available while supplies last on a first come, first served basis. Gameplay follows the Standard format with best-of-one matches run in Swiss rounds. Prize support adds three booster packs per entrant to the pool, awarded to the top three finishers with sixty percent to first place, twenty-five percent to second, and fifteen percent to third. Participation promos are included, and the winner may choose a promo from the Cookie Promo Binder. Fresh baked cookies will be available, with varieties that may vary. Sealed product will not be available. In that case, one hundred percent of entry fees are paid out as store credit using the same top three split, and all applicable promo packs are still awarded.

Wildcard Wednesday Draft

At Next Level Games, players gather for a booster draft where decks are built on the spot and matches are played head to head. Each participant opens three booster packs across the draft, picking one card at a time and passing the rest to neighbors... first to the left, then to the right for the second pack, and back to the left for the third. When drafting wraps up, you will have roughly 45 cards plus any number of basic lands to construct a minimum 40-card deck. Games usually run about 20 minutes, keeping the action quick and focused. Entry begins at $15. Prizes include a booster for every match win, along with a promo pack for participating.

Explore Bob Ross's wet-on-wet painting method with guidance from Certified Ross Instructors in the L.L. Ball Home & Center Building, Cantina, the building where The Joy of Painting was filmed. All materials are provided, so just bring yourself. Open to participants ages 14 and older. Advance registration is strongly preferred, and a limited number of walk-in spots may be available if you call ahead. Cost is $65 to $95, with discounts available for members. Participation promos are available, and the winner may choose a promo from the Cookie Promo Binder. Fresh baked cookies will be available, with the type varying. No sealed product will be available. America at 250: Celebrating Hoosier Spirit

Take a deeper look at Delaware County’s role in the American story through a gallery drawn from Minnetrista’s Heritage Collection. Military uniforms, political memorabilia, and other meaningful artifacts reveal how local lives have shaped, and been shaped by, events across the nation. The exhibition connects the experiences of everyday people to defining moments in United States history, from the founding to today.

Wallace & Gromit ™: Get Cracking!

Enter a playful world inspired by Wallace and Gromit, filled with inventive challenges and hands-on discovery. Aimed at children ages 3 to 9 and their families, this immersive exhibition features quirky contraptions to try, bright settings to explore, and activities offered in both English and Spanish. Presented in Center Building, Gallery 3. Created by Minnesota Children’s Museum in collaboration with Aardman Animations Limited, with support from Meridian Health Services.

Daleville Outdoor Learning Lab

More to Explore: Outdoor Learning Lab

At the Daleville Outdoor Learning Lab, guests can explore at their own pace across five acres that feature an apple orchard, gardens, and play areas with cornhole, sand volleyball, swings, and a stage. Freshly baked pizza from the Pizza Garden wood oven will be available for $5 each. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This program is part of the Muncie Children’s Museum summer series, offered weekly at different locations around the community to provide free, family friendly activities. Monarch Habitat Builder: Milkweed Take & Grow

This free community program centers on monarch conservation during Pollinator Week. Through a hands-on activity, participants learn about the role milkweed plays in the monarch life cycle and leave with something to take home to continue the effort.

Learn Bob Ross’s signature “wet-on-wet” technique from an experienced Certified Ross Instructor and paint in the building where The Joy of Painting was filmed. All supplies will be provided. This workshop is held in the Bob Ross Experience studio, which is only accessible by stairs. Painting workshops are open to participants ages 14 and up. Preregistration is preferred; limited walk-in tickets may be available, call ahead. Admission to the Bob Ross Experience exhibition is not included with workshop registration. Growing Home™ Mentorship Office Hours

Red-tail Land Conservancy hosts mentorship office hours as part of its Growing Home program, an award-winning initiative helping people and organizations in east central Indiana turn yards, gardens, and other outdoor spaces into habitat that supports wildlife. These sessions provide guidance for getting started with rewilding, help with questions about specific plants, beds, or areas, and access to free native seeds to enhance a landscape. There is also an opportunity to help package seeds for others. Outdoor spaces that meet habitat criteria can be certified by local botanical specialists, connecting participants to a regional network of small nature preserves that benefit local wildlife. Yorktown’s Free Summer Movies turns Civic Green into an open-air cinema where families settle in on lawn chairs and blankets for a relaxed gathering under the sky. This screening features Big Hero 6, part of a lineup of family favorites. Costumes are encouraged, from superheroes to ocean explorers, master builders, and adventurous wayfinders. I Tried Scuba- YMCA of Muncie

Hosted at the YMCA of Muncie, this free introductory scuba experience welcomes ages 10 and up. Over the course of two hours, participants spend one hour in the classroom learning essential safety concepts and exploring what is possible as an Open Water Diver for those who choose to continue with a seven week course. The second hour moves to the pool for a short swim, hands-on practice with a mask, snorkel, and fins, and a chance to don scuba gear and glide underwater with an instructor for a guided tour along the pool bottom. Enjoy a free outdoor screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie at Daleville Town Hall Park, sponsored by Property Pros Muncie as part of a summer movie series. Settle in on the grass with blankets or lawn chairs while Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and the rest of the gang take over the big screen beneath the night sky. After a 15-year hiatus, the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament returns to Muncie with hoops and community fun. This family friendly event features food trucks, local vendors, contests, and additional activities for all ages. Teams may register to compete, and the entry fee is $180 per team. Spectators are admitted free, and paid parking will be available.

Veterans Ride 2026

Motorcyclists gather for the annual Veterans Ride, a community event that gives back by directing all proceeds to Honor Flight Northeast Indiana. The ride starts and finishes at Benson Motorcycles, Inc., and participation is $25 per bike. Food will be available from the 225 BBQ Food Truck, and T-shirts featuring the 2026 design can be purchased. All bikes are welcome. Ride with purpose and honor our veterans.

4th Annual Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Cruise In!

Cars, trucks, and motorcycles gather at Legacy Church Full Gospel Temple for a cruise-in showcasing standout rides along with food, music, and family friendly activities. Admission is free. Fifteen dash plaques will be presented, and six trophies will be awarded, including recognition for the top three vehicles, best of show, best design or custom build, and best paint. The showcase includes vehicles of every make and model, with motorcycles welcome as well.

The Power of Breath: A Pranayama Workshop

2nd Annual Fore the Preemies Golf Outing

Hosted by Brooklyn and Kory, the second annual Fore the Preemies golf outing at The Players Club raises funds for families affected by premature birth or infant loss. Inspired by their experience with their son, lovingly called Baby B, the outing focuses on practical assistance such as medical needs, travel, lodging, food, household bills, and more. In its first year, the event raised $15,553.10, distributed equally to Emma’s Footprint and Grady’s Decision to support families with similar challenges. Next Level Games presents a Modern U.S. Regional Championship Qualifier for the 2025–26 Season 5, Round 1, featuring cash prizes, exclusive promos, and a path to an invite for the Regional Championship at SCG CON in Baltimore or Los Angeles. Entry is $35. The event uses the Modern format with five Swiss rounds followed by a Top 8 playoff, and it will run at Competitive Rules Enforcement. Decklists are required. Prize support scales with attendance, with 100 percent of entry fees returned as cash awards. First place earns 40 percent of the pool, an invite to the Regional Championship, and a foil Sowing Mycospawn promo. Second place receives 20 percent. Third and fourth each take 10 percent, and fifth through eighth receive 5 percent each. Collections Tour: Back to School

Celebrate school spirit with a nostalgic, behind-the-scenes tour of the Minnetrista Heritage Collection in the Center Building. The Collections team leads a guided visit into secure storage areas to reveal the tools, trends, and traditions that shaped school life in the community. See artifacts that are rarely on view, such as educational toys, uniforms, sports memorabilia, instruments, photographs, class rings, and yearbooks, and you might even recognize a few from your own school days. The cost is $10, member discounts apply, and it is for ages 13 and up. The tour may involve standing, stairs, and exposure to loud HVAC noise. Next Level Games hosts a sealed release celebration for the UNION ARENA INUYASHA [UE23BT] set. The $35 entry includes five booster packs that players use to build a 60-card deck. The event follows the One Battle Rule in best-of-1 Swiss rounds with 30-minute matches. Only cards opened from your sealed packs may be used, energy color requirements are waived, there is no card limit, there is no top cut, and the total number of rounds is determined by attendance. Prize support features a booster box of UNION ARENA INUYASHA [UE23BT] for the overall winner and one booster pack awarded for each match win to other participants. Night and Limited Visibility Diver

Expand your diving skills for dark and low visibility conditions with a course that begins with a classroom review and continues in the water with two night dives. Geared toward open water divers who want to adjust to procedures that differ from daytime diving, the training focuses on effective use of dive lights, underwater navigation, buddy coordination, communication, buoyancy control, and safe interaction with nocturnal aquatic life. The aim is to build confidence and awareness so participants can enjoy night and limited visibility diving safely.
