PMU 2026 Summer Concert Series

The PMU Summer Concert Series brings free outdoor music to the PMU East Terrace throughout the season, creating a laid-back setting for the community to enjoy live performances. Presented by Purdue Memorial Union and Purdue Food Co., the lineup features The Groove, Blue Sky Band, Backroad Revival, No Rest 4 the Weekend, Michael Kelsey, Chauncie featuring Rosie Inman, Rick DeSutter, and the Vickie Maris Band.

Thrift + Tie Dye

A collaborative creative evening from The Ollie Closet and Flourish Studio + Classroom invites participants to turn a thrifted tee into a one-of-a-kind piece. The experience begins at The Ollie Closet, where attendees present their order confirmation email and select a white T-shirt from a curated collection gathered for the workshop, with time to browse the shops before continuing to the studio. At Flourish, instructors teach beginner-friendly tie dye techniques and guide each step so every shirt becomes a personalized design. Registration includes the thrifted white tee, all dye materials and supplies, step-by-step demonstrations, and wrapping and take-home care instructions. No prior art experience is required. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a fit for a girls night out, a date, a creative evening with friends, or anyone seeking a nostalgic summer activity. The event highlights creativity and sustainability by giving secondhand fashion a fresh life through art.
