A community farmers market gathers shoppers and vendors in an outdoor setting for a welcoming experience of buying and selling. Prepare for changing weather, and vendors should check in with Market Manager Laura Porter upon arrival. Each vendor is allotted one parking space unless additional space is approved by the Market Manager, and driving or parking on the grass around the theater lot is not permitted. After setup, vehicles may not pass through the vendor area to help protect vendors, children, and animals. Vendors are responsible for keeping their spaces clean, food vendors need to provide their own trash cans, and teardown should be completed promptly so the movie theater can begin business. Shoppers are encouraged to explore the vendor community and enjoy the market atmosphere. Parking for the community is available along the far south side of the lot near Randy's Donuts. The market is not responsible for accidents, lost or stolen merchandise, or supervision of children, so please remain vigilant.

Boot Hill Museum offers a full day of Old West experiences, featuring 11 interactive exhibits in its new building and costumed performers along a recreated Front Street. Activities include deputizing sessions and can-can lessons offered throughout the day, along with gunfight reenactments. Admission is free for Clark County residents.

Now in its fifth year, the Kicking Lupus to the Curb Kickball Tournament spotlights lupus awareness through a day of kickball. Participants can enjoy a complimentary lunch and enter a raffle featuring items contributed by small businesses.

Guided movement and simple breathing invite children to explore what it means to grow, from sprouting seeds reaching toward sunlight and roots anchoring in soil to busy garden pollinators. The environment is relaxed, with participants free to move at their own pace, and no previous yoga experience required. Caregivers may take part or watch from nearby. Adults can browse the market close at hand, and are asked to remain on site. This is a pay-what-you-can, donation-based offering.

After more than two decades, Meade will once again celebrate its Wild West heritage with the WILD WEST SUMMER FEST, formerly called Dalton Day's. The morning features a parade in front of the Dalton Gang Hideout, followed by a chuckwagon breakfast and additional activities through the afternoon. The evening brings live music, a beer garden, food trucks, a mini petting zoo, and other family-friendly options. An evening memorial race honors regional racing legend Jerry Soderberg with family friendly, high energy racing at Dodge City Raceway Park. The program features IMCA Modifieds, Hobby Stocks, Northern Sport Mods, and Stock Cars. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate on race day.

Disney's 101 Dalmatians KIDS brings the beloved animated story to the stage in a lively, family friendly production. Garden City's youngest performers sing, dance, and channel plenty of puppy spirit as they team up to foil Cruella De Vil. Performances take place at KCB Auditorium on the Garden City Community College campus. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 14, available in advance at the GC Rec Building or at the door. Expect catchy music, playful moments, and a feel good canine adventure for audiences of all ages.
