Family events in Monroe, LA

Hosted by West Monroe MX and Family Fun Park, the Jalapeño Summer Series spans multiple race weekends, with Saturdays designated for practice and Sundays for racing. The format allows time to prepare one day and compete the next. Additional information on race classes, official start times, and race day sign up will be provided.

Bayou Bowl hosts a circus-themed National Bowling Day celebration featuring family-friendly attractions and special pricing. Attendees can take advantage of $2 bowling games during the circus portion, plus carnival games, prizes, face painting, Zoo Crew animals, and hands-on arts and crafts. After the celebration, bowling is half price so the fun continues on the lanes.

Created for spouses, partners, older children, and close family of military and first responders, this new peer support group provides a supportive setting to talk through challenges and learn strategies for addressing secondary trauma.
