Leominster CHC - Substance Use & Addiction Support Group
Weekly recovery support groups are available in Fitchburg, Leominster, and Gardner for adults 18 and older. These free, public meetings welcome anyone working toward sobriety as well as those in recovery from alcohol or other substance use disorders. CHC recovery coaches guide the conversations with a focus on self-exploration, peer connection, and personal growth. At Leominster CHC, sessions take place at Entrance B in the Behavioral Health Conference Room. For questions or to learn more, call 978-878-8484.

A free, public recovery support group meets at Fitchburg CHC for adults 18 and older who are working on sobriety or living in recovery from alcohol or other substance use disorders. Conversations are guided by CHC recovery coaches and focus on personal growth through self-reflection and peer support. This group gathers on the second floor in Conference Room 2 at Fitchburg CHC. Similar weekly groups are also offered at Leominster CHC in the behavioral health conference room at Entrance B and at Greater Gardner CHC in the third floor conference room. Want to practice your English conversation skills? Join the Literacy Volunteers of the Montachusett Region for a weekly English Language Conversation Class. Each session focuses on speaking practice in a friendly group setting, running from 10 AM to 11 AM. Registration is handled by emailing the Literacy Volunteers.

Get to know Sizer School on a drop in tour that showcases its project based approach and small, hands on classes. The tour is led by Lindsay Alweiss, Director of Community Development, Communications and Recruitment, and offers a look at how state standards are explored in greater depth through personalized learning. For nearly a quarter century, the school has graduated students who think independently, care about others, and act with creativity and responsibility. Translation or interpretation can be arranged by appointment when needed. Applications are open for grades 7, 8 and 9.
