Teen Junk Journaling
During April break, the teen room is hosting a week of activities. This session invites teens to design their own junk journal. Participation is limited to students in grades 7 through 12. Presented with support from the Friends of the Library.
Leominster Public LibrarySports Pop-up Program (Ages 9 - 12)
Keep the school break moving with a high-energy sports pop-up for ages 9 to 12 that blends basketball and soccer into one active session. Participants rotate between the two sports for skill work, fun drills, and small group games, with a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and the joy of play. The setting is relaxed and recreational, making it a welcoming way to try multiple sports and stay engaged. Instruction is led by Trevor. The program takes place at the Johnson Street Green Space. The fee is $15 for residents and $30 for nonresidents.

The Sound Bites music showcase at Sawa Asian Cuisine and Lounge brings together performers from across New England for a collaborative lineup. This installment features David Keith Michael, Luke Kelly, and Kathy LJ. Attendees can look forward to new voices from the region, one of a kind onstage collaborations, and an upbeat atmosphere. Food and cocktails from the restaurant will be available.
Sawa Asian Cuisine and LoungeDungeons & Dragons for Pre/Teens
Young adventurers can dive into a cooperative Dungeons & Dragons experience at the Gardner Family Resource Center, designed for pre-teens and teens. Guided by a Dungeon Master, participants will create their own characters, explore imaginative worlds, and take on shared quests together. No experience is necessary, and newcomers are welcome.
