Youth Tennis Lessons (Ages 8 - 10)

Created for ages 8 to 10, these youth tennis lessons introduce new players to the fundamentals, emphasizing correct grip and basic strokes in a welcoming, well-organized setting. Participants should bring an age-appropriate racket, which is readily available online. If someone arrives without one, a few loaner rackets will be on hand for the session. Parents should make sure children wear sneakers, apply sunscreen, and bring plenty of water. As a sizing reference, age 8 typically uses a 23 inch racket, ages 9 to 10 use a 25 inch racket, and ages 11 and up use a 26 inch racket. Instruction is provided by Seun at the Doyle Field Tennis Courts. The fee is $75 for residents and $95 for non-residents.
