Please bring your own materials and paper. Dry and low-mess options such as graphite pencils, charcoal, conté crayons, colored pencils, ballpoint pens, and sketchbooks work well. Oil painting is not permitted at this time while ventilation and disposal details are being addressed, with the goal of allowing oils in the future. Building on the momentum of Revealer from 2022, which earned her the Grammy for Best Folk Album, Ace moves from observational writing to feeling-first songs after a period of writer’s block and places piano at the forefront for a sweeping, peak-like sound.
