In Augusta, a two-day craft show highlights Maine-made crafts. Admission is free.

At Capitol Park, the annual NAMI Maine Walk brings people from across the state together to champion mental health, strengthen community, and open pathways to support. The day begins with a short, under-one-mile walk on the park’s paved paths, followed by a family-friendly festival. The gathering is open to the public and will be held rain or shine. Leashed dogs are welcome and encouraged. Event photography may occur, and images may be used for marketing such as websites, social media, news, and advertising. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

This Advanced format Yu-Gi-Oh! event features a $6 entry fee, and each participant receives an OTS pack upon signing up. The number of Swiss rounds and the size of the top cut adjust based on attendance. For every player who enters, two packs are added to the prize pool, and prizes are awarded according to final standings after Swiss and the cut. Deck construction follows the current Forbidden and Limited Lists.

Casual commander play with a focus on lower powered decks. Players are arranged in groups of three to five, and the winner of each group receives a randomly selected promo. Most attendees bring lower power builds, so matches stay on the lighter side.

Watch a movie while cuddling with cats. Admission is $15 and includes popcorn and a drink from the cooler. Please RSVP.

The event features a fun shoot alongside a hearty meal. Attendees may choose between Captain Bill’s famous lobster clam boil or a BBQ chicken dinner, and the shooting activities include trap, duck fluffy, skeet, and 5-stand. Meal tickets are available from Jim McMullen.

Create your own pottery in a two-part class that starts with making your pieces and continues a couple of weeks later with glazing. During the first session you can shape up to three items, such as a cup, bowl, or vase, using three clay balls of about 1.25 pounds each. Guidance with the wheel is available as much or as little as you want, whether you prefer complete independence or extra help for a more refined result. After the first firing, return within 30 days to glaze your work. Everything is fired a second time, and then you will come back to pick up the finished pieces. You may make additional items for $10 each to cover glazing and firing. Short fingernails are recommended. Wear clothes that can get messy and bring an old towel or rag for wiping clay from your hands. Class size is limited to five participants, and spots often fill two to three weeks ahead. Pieces must be glazed and picked up within 30 days, or they may be discarded due to limited storage.

The Billy Joel VIP Experience Upgrade offers the acoustic set, meet and greet, and collectible laminate and lanyard. It does not include a ticket and must be purchased in addition to regular admission. Quantities are limited.
