This free, open-to-everyone performance works whether you are stopping by for dinner or drinks along Bridge Street or choosing to settle in for the full show. Expect neighborhood character, great music, and a relaxed summer atmosphere. The event takes place within the social zone, so guests may buy to-go beverages from nearby businesses and enjoy them in the parking lot. Presented in partnership with Swift Printing and Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., this program brings added energy to Downtown and elevates the Bridge Street experience. It also aligns with Third Thursday activities, so sip, shop, and stroll.

Pretty Kool closes out the Summer Concert Series on the lawn at Kentwood City Hall with a high-energy performance spanning favorites from the 1970s through today. The Grand Rapids-based band keeps the crowd singing and dancing. Food trucks on site include Desi's Tropical Sno Shack, Dune Buggy, S&S Bailey's Concessions, and Tarriko Taqueria. Guests may bring beer or wine, and leashed dogs are welcome. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for relaxed seating on the grass. The series features ten concerts in total.

Betka-Pope Productions presents an intimate, immersive dinner theatre staging of The Last Five Years at The Dungeon Bar. Framed as a night out in New York City, the musical follows two New Yorkers in their twenties as their relationship rises and falls over five years, with the story unfolding throughout the space. The experience includes a specially themed menu and drink specials available for purchase, along with interactive moments between performers and the audience. The performance runs a little over an hour and a half with no intermission. Doors open one hour beforehand and remain open for an hour afterward. A Sponsorship Preshow Party begins an hour and a half before and includes light hors d’oeuvres. General admission is $20. The Dungeon is ADA accessible, with assistance available for the lift. Laura Sterenberg portrays Catherine Hiatt and Jude Libner portrays Jamie Wellerstein. Direction is by Artemis L. Tally, with musical direction by Kels Rezmer, stage management by Kendra Jones, costuming by Emcee Cipriano, and props and set design by Meaghan Gietzen. A free, all-ages celebration of music, art, and community brings two days of activity to Downtown Grand Rapids. Enjoy live music, interactive art and traveling installations, an artisan market, and a variety of food trucks. The experience spans connected, walkable sites that include Sixth Street Park and the Sixth Street Bridge. Designated beverage areas will offer grab and go drinks. The festival is easily reached via DASH and The Rapid bus stops. It is accessible and open to all, with on-site wayfinding to assist. Dogs are welcome with a leash, and guests should clean up after their pets. The detailed schedule, activities, and food truck lineup will be shared closer to the festival.
