Two skeins is the minimum, though purchasing four to five is recommended so you have enough, and any unused skeins can be returned after class. Make sure you select the exact Extra Thick version and the correct length. If you choose a thinner yarn, plan to bring additional skeins. This yarn can be found at major craft stores such as Michaels and Hobby Lobby, and store staff can help confirm you have the right type. A lighter color is suggested for beginners because it makes counting and tracking stitches easier. Participants must be at least 12 years old. Ages 12 to 15 must attend with a registered adult, and everyone present must be registered. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, and a cafe counter is available with plenty of options.
