Outdoor play for children six and under in the Children's Area at the Huss Project Farm. Kids can get creative in the mud kitchen, explore the farm, and hike the woods trail. This gathering happens in all weather, so dress accordingly. Park near the south end of the parking lot and enter the gate on the south side of the building next to the Bike Shop to reach the backyard.

Explore practical insights on mentorship and sponsorship in an engaging session led by Mary Marchese. Admission is $20 and includes a catered lunch by Hip Padders Catering. Attendance is limited to the first 20 registrants. Women in business are welcome whether or not they own a business, and participation is open to those from surrounding areas. Sturgis Women2Women offers a supportive place to connect, build confidence, and advocate for one another through meaningful networking and mentorship that strengthens relationships and encourages confident referrals. Now in its fourth year, this awareness gathering aims to offer hope to people affected by suicide or overdose. Attendees can take part in a group walk, explore a fair featuring resources and activities hosted by community partners, and spend time building support and connection with one another. Geeks Who Drink brings a homegrown pub quiz where so-called useless knowledge finally counts. Each game features seven rounds of eight questions in a mix of formats, including audio and visual clues. Topics may include Hungary, The Hunger Games, science, sports, the Billboard Hot 100, and Better Call Saul. Teams can have up to six people, and solo players are welcome and can be matched with a team. Bonus questions pop up along the way for extra rewards, and top scorers can take home bar cash and other prizes that differ by venue. Expect friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and chances to surprise yourself.

Asleep at the Wheel brings its Texas and Western Swing sound to the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center, led by longtime bandleader Ray Benson. The group has called Austin home for five decades, and over its 55-year run more than 100 musicians have been part of the lineup. Following recent changes after the pandemic and their 50th anniversary tour, the band now features vocalist and fiddler Ian Stewart among the fresh faces. Marking this era is the 32nd album, Riding High In Texas, the first new release since 2021 and a set that pairs Stewart and Benson as lead vocalists. The recording salutes Texas music with both familiar and lesser known songs, and includes appearances from friends like Lyle Lovett, along with a guitar feature by Billy Strings on the title track. Food Truck Friday brings tasty eats and scenic river views to Mongo all summer. Hosted by Trading Post Outfitters beside the Pigeon River, this weekly series showcases a different food truck in the on-site parking area to help kick off the weekend. New this year, the Scoop Shack will be open each Friday serving hand dipped ice cream. Expect a relaxed riverside atmosphere with plenty of flavors to explore.

Curly's of Colon, MI hosts Slimknot for an evening of live music that leans into crowd favorites and welcomes song requests. The kitchen features a menu made mostly in house, about 85 percent, offering from-scratch options to enjoy alongside the show.

On the second Saturday of each month, the market adds an art market, live music, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra Musical Storybooks, food trucks, and other special features. Activities and vendors are set up in the Front Porch Pavilion and in the Imaginarium along the north side of the Huss building.
