Business After Hours: United Way of Marquette County
United Way of Marquette County marks the success of its Annual Campaign with a special Business After Hours at Ore Dock Brewing Co., presented in partnership with Lake Superior Partnership. The gathering brings together donors, partner agencies, workplace campaign leaders, community champions, media partners, and nonprofit collaborators to recognize shared impact across Marquette County. Attendees can look forward to casual networking, reflections on the campaign’s outcomes, opportunities to connect with local leaders and organizations, and light refreshments. Bringing business cards is recommended. The event welcomes both partnership members and non-members.
Ore Dock Brewing Co.Grief Support Group
Grief can feel heavy, and it does not have to be faced alone. This support group offers a caring place for people who have experienced a loss to talk, listen, and connect. A trained facilitator guides the conversation so participants can share at their own pace and find comfort through common experiences. Whether your loss is recent or from years past, taking part can help you process emotions, ease feelings of isolation, and find strength in community. Healing is not about forgetting, it is about learning to carry your loss with support around you. Attendance is free and open to the public. No affiliation or registration is required. The group meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
