Local outlets have praised the band for thoughtful, carefully crafted songwriting, a sound that leaves a lasting impression, and an uncanny feel that seems to sit outside any single decade as genres converge. Healing the Wound of Betrayal

Jennifer guides a gentle meditation experience created to help release the pain of betrayal and make room for a more authentic sense of self. The session offers a caring approach to easing long-held emotions while encouraging a reconnection with inner strength and self-acceptance. Participants are welcomed into a supportive environment that acknowledges how confusing and lonely betrayal can feel, with the understanding that healing unfolds gradually and at its own pace. Using calming breathwork, guided meditation, and mindful affirmations, you will be invited to reconnect with your body, your inner wisdom, and your natural resilience without any pressure. The practice is offered with warmth and professionalism so there is space for whatever arises, free from judgment or expectation. SIDE TWO in concert

Part of Hamel Rodeo Days in Hamel, Minnesota, SIDE TWO delivers a high-energy, late-night show built for big crowds. Think of the songs you wore out in your car stereo, reimagined with extra volume, momentum, and no filler. The set moves with intention through grunge, alternative, classic rock, pop, dance, country, metal, and Britpop. One moment the room is shouting along to Alive, Man in the Box, or Monkey Wrench, then the vibe shifts to the neon glow of Dancing in the Dark, I Ran, or Hungry Like the Wolf. Nineties staples like Mr. Brightside, The Middle, Hey Jealousy, and What I Got sit alongside crowd favorites such as American Girl, Sweet Caroline, Born to Be Wild, and Sharp Dressed Man. Heavier edges from Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Tool share space with pop shine like Straight Up, Time After Time, and Stacy’s Mom. Classic rock anthems including Rocket Man, Surrender, and All Right Now flow into punk and alt bursts from Song 2, Come Out and Play, and Sabotage. Country has its turn with Ring of Fire, On the Road Again, and Country Roads. It all plays like flipping to side two of a favorite tape... deeper cuts, guilty pleasures, and sing-alongs you forgot you loved. This is the moment of the night when the crowd leans in, the hands go up, and people leave wanting one more song.

A community vegan potluck in the West Suburbs brings people together to share plant based dishes, exchange recipes, and gather new cooking ideas. It takes place in the Base Camp coffee shop area inside Unmapped Brewing Co. Everyone is welcome at any stage of a vegan journey. Please bring a dish to share along with a list of ingredients, and if possible, bring your own plate and utensils. Dishes must be fully plant based with no meat, dairy, eggs, fish, or butter. For recipe inspiration, resources such as Insanely Good Recipes, The Edgy Vegan, and The Vegan Atlas are suggested. This gathering offers a chance to connect with like minded participants and taste a variety of vegan foods. Sponsored by Compassionate Action for Animals.
