Community Work Day

Pitch in to care for the planet through simple, meaningful tasks. Volunteers will collect litter, get a wildlife garden ready, and pull invasive garlic mustard to support healthier local ecosystems. It is a chance to work alongside neighbors and make a positive impact. All ages are welcome, and children under 16 must be with an adult. Stop by whenever you can and stay as long as you like. The event will be canceled in case of bad weather.

Easter Lily Painting Party

A paint night focused on creating Easter lily artwork during the Easter season. Hosted by Natalia of The Gutsy Artsy at St. James Coffee in Rochester, Minnesota. The price is $35 and includes all supplies. Participants can enjoy a drink while they paint and take home their finished piece. Space is limited and tickets are non-refundable.

Adults Only Easter Egg Hunt

Element

Element returns to Eagles Club Rochester for another lively show. Their previous performance filled the room, and this one aims to welcome an even bigger crowd of friends and fans. With nicer weather on the way, expect plenty of singing, dancing, and a party-ready atmosphere.

Dancing Through the Decades

At the Historic Chateau Theatre, this final dance celebration caps an eleven-week series of dance lessons with an evening focused on rhythm, style, and community spirit. Attendees can wear outfits inspired by their favorite decade and enjoy a professional dance showcase, followed by a community dance set to music spanning the last century. The gathering also features a casual social hour, historical displays, and refreshments, with a photographer on hand to capture the occasion. Admission for the finale is $15 for members and $25 for non-members.

Epicure: One Bite at a Time

Honorary co-chairs Drs. Amy Williams and Mark Larson are part of the fourth annual culinary gathering in Channel One's 55,000 square foot warehouse. Around a dozen partner restaurants present small-plate tastings, creating an evening for about 250 guests to eat, drink, socialize, and connect through food. Attendees can take tours of the facility, sample diverse foods and beverages, enjoy custom boutique cocktails, and take part in games and a raffle. A brief program will spotlight food insecurity and its impact on neighbors in the community.

Karaoke Saturday Nights

Saturday night karaoke with Mainstream Music DJ comes to Whitlock-Sonnenberg VFW Post 1215 Mess Hall Tavern & Grill in Rochester, MN. Sing your favorites or cheer on fellow performers, and enjoy food and drinks while you take in the music.

Teen Karaoke and Pizza Night

Teens who love music can step on stage and perform karaoke with a sound system, or sing along from the crowd if they prefer not to be in front of everyone. Perform solo or with friends, and keep song choices appropriate. There will be games to enjoy as well. Snacks are provided, and drinks are available for purchase.

Jeremy Jewell

Jeremy Jewell opens the 2026 Community Supported Art season as its first featured artist, performing for CSA shareholders in The Neighborhood Nook at Clover & Rose. Beverages will be available to purchase, and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. This pick up event highlights a program inspired by the community-supported agriculture model, directing local support to artists and businesses. Shares are $50, and all funds go to the participating artists and local partners. There are four shares offered throughout the year, which can be purchased individually or as a bundle. Each share includes a Forager crowler, one piece of local art or music, and one local item, with past examples including maple syrup, local bread, flowers, and honey. A songwriter, singer, and entertainer from southern Minnesota, Jeremy pairs his vocals with acoustic and electric guitars, harmonicas, and occasional foot percussion. His influences include sad ballads, good beer, and bad tequila. He favors medium picks, light strings, jeans, and is rarely without a hat.

Wines of the World 2026

At Rochester Event Center, this annual tasting brings together more than 150 wines, spirits, and beers. Guests can bid on a range of auction items and try their luck in a gift basket raffle. Donations and sponsorships help provide dignity, stability, and opportunity for people with disabilities. Fleet Fest Week 4

During the last week of Fleet Fest at Fleet Farm Rochester, expect family friendly activities and savings. Weeklong deals are planned, plus a no-cost fishing lure coloring activity, complimentary hot dogs, and a free hat with any purchase for the first 400 customers, while supplies last. The festivities wrap up with a blend of creativity, snacks, and giveaways.

Back in Rochester for another visit, the performers are preparing a special show just for this stop. They share a strong fondness for playing in the city and are excited to connect with the local crowd.

Unleash the SHE Run 2026 Rochester

Presented by Mayo Clinic, this women-focused run and walk begins and ends at Little Thistle Brewing and follows the paths around Cascade Lake. Little Thistle has worked with the city to improve access to these trails, and local partners and nearby businesses offer plenty of space and close parking for easy access. Participants receive a complimentary beverage from Little Thistle after finishing. The event supports the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance and honors survivors. Participants can choose all-women 5K and 10K races or take part in the Support the SHE co-ed 5K walk to help raise money to fight ovarian cancer. The schedule includes packet pickup, pre-race announcements, a kids race, the 10K, the 5K run and walk, music and brunch with food trucks, recognition of overall winners, door prizes, and a presentation by MOCA and Mayo Clinic. All ages and families are welcome.

Sparkle With Jill at Unleash The She

At the Unleash the She race at Little Thistle Brewing in Rochester, a Permalinx setup will be available in the back lot alongside other vendors and food trucks. This event highlights a cause that supports women with ovarian cancer. The Permalinx provider also shares a personal connection to the mission, noting a past loss of an ovary to cancer.

Chip Night - Last Saturdays @ 8PM

This open meeting celebrates recovery milestones with chips and welcomes everyone, including children, family members, and loved ones. Although chips can be received at any meeting at the Pioneer, this gathering makes it easy to invite family, friends, or your support group to be part of the experience. If you would like to share, step to the podium to talk about your journey, what has helped, and what keeps you returning. To be called in order of sobriety length, stop by the front table a few minutes before the meeting begins to add your name. Chips, also known as pins, coins, or medallions, recognize continuous sobriety from one month through eleven months, then one year and each year after that up to 80 plus years. The suggested donation is $2 per chip.

Cambodian New Year

A Cambodian New Year celebration takes place at Watt Dhamma Visudhikaram, highlighted by live entertainment from Moon Rose Band and plenty of time to dance. Merchandise vendors interested in reserving a booth can contact the phone number on the event flyer, and if there is no immediate answer they are encouraged to send a text or leave a detailed voicemail. 12th Annual Timmay 5k

The 12th Annual Timmay 5k at Silver Lake Park gathers the community for a celebration of life, pays tribute to Tim Rasmusson, and builds donor awareness during National Donate Life Month. Participants may run or walk in person or opt for a virtual format. Proceeds support the Gift of Life Transplant House, helping provide comfort and care for transplant patients and their families. A day-of raffle adds extra excitement with prizes.

Dilly Dally Spring Market

Enjoy a small business pop-up in Rochester, Minnesota that brings together a wide range of vendors. Browse household items, furniture, baked treats, homemade creations, apparel, gift ideas, and more. Vendor spaces are still available for those interested in taking part.

Saturday Aqua Cycle

This 30-minute aqua cycling class in a warm-water pool delivers a fast-paced, low-impact workout. Riders pedal on submerged stationary bikes, using the water’s resistance and buoyancy to improve cardiovascular fitness and muscle tone while staying gentle on the joints. The session focuses on interval training for an efficient, full-body experience. Led by instructor Kerry, it is offered as three sessions with a maximum of five participants. Pricing is $20 for Fitness Members and $31 for Social and Nonmembers.

Berserker 1 Sponsored by Active PT

Hosted at Progression Fitness, Berserker 1 delivers a Hyrox inspired test presented with support from Active PT. It is free for CFP members, designated as a Punch event for Punch Card members, and open to non members for $35. The finalized plan is in place, while remaining subject to weather conditions and any required testing. Participants move through an 800 meter run followed by 50 wall balls at prescribed weights of 20 and 14 pounds. After another 800 meter run, the work continues with a 1000 meter ski, then a third 800 meter run before a 200 meter farmers carry at 70 and 53 pounds. A final 800 meter run leads into 50 meters of overhead walking lunges at 45 and 35 pounds. The run has a substitute of 60 calories on the bike. Heats roll every five to ten minutes, and the workout has a 60 minute time cap.

Trunks of Treasures

Trunks of Treasures is a community trunk sale raising funds to restore the Peace United parking lot. Formerly called Junk in the Trunk, it brings neighbors together as participants load their car trunks with items they have been meaning to pass along or donate and sell them from designated parking spaces while the community browses. All purchases are processed through a central register, and proceeds support the parking lot restoration. After the sale, any remaining items are packed back up by their owners for donation. Sellers can reserve up to two parking spots, and a table can be provided if needed. The event is also seeking volunteers to help at the main registers and to support a bake sale and coffee table. Food donations are welcome for the bake sale, such as bars, cookies, or donuts, whether homemade or store-bought. Sign-up options are available to sell, donate, or volunteer.

Snuggle a Baby Goat

Cuddle baby goats during short, scheduled visits. Sessions are free, with donations welcome to support feed for the animals. An RSVP is required to choose a 15-minute time slot and to help keep things organized and traffic moving. Activities take place outdoors when weather allows or inside the barn. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty, and consider boots since it is mud season on the farm. Parking has been improved; follow posted signs to park in the grass or hay field. For young families, plan for one adult for every two children under six. Groups larger than eight should message Shanna to arrange an appointment.

Companion Homestead Dog Sanctuary presents its third annual spring market celebrating dogs, local businesses, and the spirit of spring. TerraLoco’s $5 5K fun run and walk supports ACHLA with a casual community route and a rolling start format that lets participants begin within a set window and aim to finish together. Entry is $5 per person, payable by cash or check only, and the full amount is donated to the featured charity. Snacks are provided, and bringing a refillable water bottle is encouraged. After the run there will be a brief message from the nonprofit and prize drawings, and winners must be present. Designed for anyone new to Medicare, preparing to retire, or approaching age 65, this class offers a clear overview of how Medicare works. It covers the different parts of Medicare, what is covered, deductibles, enrollment periods, costs, Medicare Advantage options, and Medicare Supplement plans. The session also explains Part D prescription coverage, formularies, drug tiers, the 2026 update to the prescription drug benefit, and ways to avoid late enrollment penalties. Jewelry Appraisal Day at Laskers

A special appraisal event brings certified gemologist appraiser Joel Hassler, GIA GG, ICGA (AGS) of Von Hasle Jewelry Advisers, to the Eau Claire location. Designated drop off opportunities are available at the Eau Claire and Rochester locations, where a Lasker Jewelers team member will explain the process and answer questions. Each piece is evaluated by the visiting appraiser, and a report with a digital signature is provided upon jewelry pick up that can be used for insurance. Expect spirited questions that reignite debates about whether Jack could have fit on that door, the classic Team Edward versus Team Jacob rivalry, the Von Dutch moment, and even the many iterations of Destiny's Child. It is free to play, and top teams earn prizes along with lasting bragging rights. Wear whatever feels right. Nostalgic outfits are welcome but not required.

Catholic in Recovery Group

A co-ed Catholic in Recovery Group meets at St. James Coffee, welcoming anyone seeking help and healing from addiction and unhealthy attachments. Individuals facing challenges such as alcoholism, drug dependence, pornography or sexual and relationship issues, compulsive overeating and other food-related struggles, gambling, codependency and its impact on family, as well as fear, control, and anxiety will find a supportive space. Workbooks are available at the meeting. This gathering is part of Catholic in Recovery, a nonprofit inspired by founder Scott Weeman’s experience of healing through twelve-step recovery and the sacramental life of the Catholic Church. Its approach highlights three interconnected paths to growth... fellowship, freedom, and faith. Fellowship focuses on healing within community. Freedom involves trusting in God while engaging the wisdom of the Twelve Steps. Faith is strengthened through retreats, spiritual resources, and connection with a Christ-centered community. Together, these elements integrate twelve-step principles with Catholic tradition to support lasting recovery and renewed joy.

Seokmum Hoheup (4-week series)

Guided by Dr. Paul Min, this extended workshop focuses on natural diaphragmatic breathing centered in the lower abdomen to nurture overall wellness and support long-term brain health. Through guided, hands-on exercises, participants practice reshaping everyday breathing habits in ways that feel sustainable and enjoyable. 50 Years A Birder presented by Laura Erickson

At Quarry Hill Nature Center, Laura Erickson shares insights from five decades of birding, exploring how birds, birding practices, and the community have changed over time. Drawing on her own experiences, she highlights both recoveries from endangerment and continuing declines, with examples that include the Lesser Prairie-Chicken, Kirtland's Warbler, and Hawaii's Iiwi, along with backyard favorites such as the Pileated Woodpecker, Blue Jay, and Black-capped Chickadee. Widely known in Minnesota, Erickson is a scientist, teacher, writer, licensed wildlife rehabilitator, blogger, public speaker, and photographer. Her background includes serving as American Robin and Whooping Crane expert for the Journey North educational website and as Science Editor at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. She has written thirteen books about birds and has been a columnist and contributing editor for BirdWatching magazine. This program is free and open to the public.

EarthFest Trivia Night

EarthFest Trivia Night returns as part of the EarthFest partner series leading up to the annual EarthFest Expo. At Little Thistle, teams test their knowledge and the top team earns prizes. The momentum builds toward the Expo, which will include more than 30 exhibitors, a native plant sale, an electric vehicle showcase, the return of Olmsted County’s fix-it clinic, and a new reuse market.

Lego Star Wars Build Event

Entry is $5 per person, payable by cash or check, and 100 percent of that goes directly to the featured charity. The format uses a rolling start, so participants can begin within a set window and still aim to finish together. Snacks will be available, and a refillable water bottle is recommended. After the miles, there will be a brief message from the nonprofit and prize drawings, and you must be present to win. Everyone is welcome at any pace and age, including those with strollers, rollerblades, bicycles and more. Leashed, vaccinated and well behaved pets may attend.

Byron Bears Volleyball Youth Summer Camps

Registration is open for the Byron youth volleyball summer camps. Sessions are organized by grade level, with options for students in kindergarten through tenth grade, grouped as K through 2, 3 through 5, 6 through 8, and 9 through 10. Healthy Start will present a community art show that celebrates creativity on 3-by-3 Post-it notes. Artists can create miniature works in any medium, as long as each piece fits on a Post-it, and may mail submissions to Mary Nicklay or deliver them in person to Healthy Start. Every entry will be displayed during Byron Good Neighbor Days, and all artwork will be offered for sale with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Do Good Minnesota, a nonprofit organization. A special Byron-themed collection will be featured, with awards recognizing standout submissions connected to the community.

Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group

Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group offers a gentle, welcoming place for those grieving a loved one who died by suicide. Caring facilitators provide a steady environment where grief is honored as a personal path rather than something to be solved. Participants can share or simply listen, choosing the pace that feels right, and every expression of loss is met with understanding and respect. The group meets at NAMI Southeast Minnesota.
