Pitch in to care for the planet through simple, meaningful tasks. Volunteers will collect litter, get a wildlife garden ready, and pull invasive garlic mustard to support healthier local ecosystems. It is a chance to work alongside neighbors and make a positive impact. All ages are welcome, and children under 16 must be with an adult. Stop by whenever you can and stay as long as you like. The event will be canceled in case of bad weather.

Jeremy Jewell opens the 2026 Community Supported Art season as its first featured artist, performing for CSA shareholders in The Neighborhood Nook at Clover & Rose. This pick up event highlights a program inspired by the community-supported agriculture model, directing local support to artists and businesses. Shares are $50, and all funds go to the participating artists and local partners. There are four shares offered throughout the year, which can be purchased individually or as a bundle. Each share includes a Forager crowler, one piece of local art or music, and one local item, with past examples including maple syrup, local bread, flowers, and honey. A songwriter, singer, and entertainer from southern Minnesota, Jeremy pairs his vocals with acoustic and electric guitars, harmonicas, and occasional foot percussion. His influences include sad ballads, good beer, and bad tequila. He favors medium picks, light strings, jeans, and is rarely without a hat.

Participants receive a complimentary beverage from Little Thistle after finishing. The event supports the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance and honors survivors. Participants can choose all-women 5K and 10K races or take part in the Support the SHE co-ed 5K walk to help raise money to fight ovarian cancer. The schedule includes packet pickup, pre-race announcements, a kids race, the 10K, the 5K run and walk, music and brunch with food trucks, recognition of overall winners, door prizes, and a presentation by MOCA and Mayo Clinic. Although chips can be received at any meeting at the Pioneer, this gathering makes it easy to invite family, friends, or your support group to be part of the experience. If you would like to share, step to the podium to talk about your journey, what has helped, and what keeps you returning. To be called in order of sobriety length, stop by the front table a few minutes before the meeting begins to add your name. Chips, also known as pins, coins, or medallions, recognize continuous sobriety from one month through eleven months, then one year and each year after that up to 80 plus years. The suggested donation is $2 per chip.

It is free for CFP members, designated as a Punch event for Punch Card members, and open to non members for $35. The finalized plan is in place, while remaining subject to weather conditions and any required testing. Participants move through an 800 meter run followed by 50 wall balls at prescribed weights of 20 and 14 pounds. After another 800 meter run, the work continues with a 1000 meter ski, then a third 800 meter run before a 200 meter farmers carry at 70 and 53 pounds. A final 800 meter run leads into 50 meters of overhead walking lunges at 45 and 35 pounds. The run has a substitute of 60 calories on the bike. Heats roll every five to ten minutes, and the workout has a 60 minute time cap.

Trunks of Treasures is a community trunk sale raising funds to restore the Peace United parking lot. Formerly called Junk in the Trunk, it brings neighbors together as participants load their car trunks with items they have been meaning to pass along or donate and sell them from designated parking spaces while the community browses. All purchases are processed through a central register, and proceeds support the parking lot restoration. After the sale, any remaining items are packed back up by their owners for donation. Sellers can reserve up to two parking spots, and a table can be provided if needed. The event is also seeking volunteers to help at the main registers and to support a bake sale and coffee table. Food donations are welcome for the bake sale, such as bars, cookies, or donuts, whether homemade or store-bought. Sign-up options are available to sell, donate, or volunteer.

Cuddle baby goats during short, scheduled visits. Sessions are free, with donations welcome to support feed for the animals. An RSVP is required to choose a 15-minute time slot and to help keep things organized and traffic moving. Activities take place outdoors when weather allows or inside the barn. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty, and consider boots since it is mud season on the farm. Parking has been improved; follow posted signs to park in the grass or hay field. A co-ed Catholic in Recovery Group meets at St. James Coffee, welcoming anyone seeking help and healing from addiction and unhealthy attachments. Individuals facing challenges such as alcoholism, drug dependence, pornography or sexual and relationship issues, compulsive overeating and other food-related struggles, gambling, codependency and its impact on family, as well as fear, control, and anxiety will find a supportive space. Workbooks are available at the meeting. This gathering is part of Catholic in Recovery, a nonprofit inspired by founder Scott Weeman’s experience of healing through twelve-step recovery and the sacramental life of the Catholic Church. Its approach highlights three interconnected paths to growth... fellowship, freedom, and faith. Fellowship focuses on healing within community. Freedom involves trusting in God while engaging the wisdom of the Twelve Steps. Faith is strengthened through retreats, spiritual resources, and connection with a Christ-centered community. Together, these elements integrate twelve-step principles with Catholic tradition to support lasting recovery and renewed joy.

Widely known in Minnesota, Erickson is a scientist, teacher, writer, licensed wildlife rehabilitator, blogger, public speaker, and photographer. Her background includes serving as American Robin and Whooping Crane expert for the Journey North educational website and as Science Editor at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. She has written thirteen books about birds and has been a columnist and contributing editor for BirdWatching magazine. This program is free and open to the public.

Bring broken or worn items to the Olmsted County Fix-It Clinic at Saint Mary’s University - Rochester Campus (Cascade Meadows), presented as part of the EarthFest Expo. The clinic will be set up on the lower level, and its hours differ from the expo schedule. Skilled volunteers will help repair and restore belongings at no cost while sharing tips so you can learn how to make fixes yourself. Clothing and textiles are welcome, from jackets to jeans, and help is also available for small appliances, electronics, and toys. No pre-registration is required. Service is first come, first served, with a limit of two items per household. Please bring only carry-in sized items, and note that check-ins end 30 minutes before closing. Some items cannot be accepted, including anything too large for one person to carry, devices with gasoline engines, smartphones or tablets, and full zipper replacements. Smaller zipper fixes may be possible. Spanish and Somali interpreters will be available. The clinic is offered by Olmsted County in partnership with Reuse Minnesota, with funding from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s Statewide Waste Reduction and Reuse grant.
