Make Music Day
At Starlight Theatre, a worldwide celebration of music features live performances by the Eboni Fondren Quartet, presented by the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra, along with other community artists. Around the grounds, interactive opportunities invite hands-on exploration of rhythm and percussion so attendees can try making music themselves or simply listen and enjoy. Admission is free, and tickets are required.
StarlightSongwriter's Sanctuary
Presented by the Heartland Song Network, this songwriter-focused gathering at PH Coffee’s Public House offers a warm, attentive space to share brand new original songs. Performers take the stage solo or as duos, and only original material is featured. Built by and for songwriters, it is a place to try out fresh ideas, meet peers, strengthen live performance skills, and connect and collaborate with fellow Heartland songwriters. All ages are encouraged to perform, and participants at every experience level are welcome.

Level One Game Shop hosts weekly Gundam TCG tournaments run as casual, constructed events with swiss pairings. Prizes follow a pack-per-win structure, with bonus packs for finishing 3-0 or 0-3.

Painted Teacup and Dingo Toolz present an annual Father’s Day puff and paint experience that pairs a relaxed vibe with a guided art class. All painting materials and bud are provided, and participants are welcome to attend with their dad. No prior painting experience is required, as instructors lead the process step by step. A small snack bar will be available with treats and beverages for purchase.
