    Tipton Septemberfest returns for its fourth year at the Tipton Fairgrounds with a full day of shopping, food, family activities, live music and community spirit. Organized by a small team of local volunteers, the festival directs proceeds to local organizations, with this year’s support going to Ability Mid-Mo. Attendees can explore nearly 100 vendors featuring makers and small businesses, enjoy food trucks and drinks, and let kids play in a dedicated zone with inflatables and a petting zoo. Highlights include an America’s 250th themed parade, the Run for Rodney 5K, Septemberfest Royalty, a baking contest and auction, and the hometown premiere of a film by Jim Shipley featuring the Tuskegee Airmen. Music fills the day and carries into the night, and beer is available from Bee’s Knees. After vendor shopping ends, the celebration continues with food, drinks and live music into the evening. Admission is free, and Kids Zone wristbands are $20 for unlimited play.
