Biloxi Bash 2026

Biloxi Bash 2026 brings ski riders together on Deer Island for three days of riding, each with a unique route and destination that can be adjusted based on weather. Neighboring Gulf Coast groups come together for a true rally atmosphere. The first day departs from the western tip of Deer Island in Biloxi and cruises through Fort Bayou, pauses for lunch at The Shed BBQ, then returns along the same path. The second day sets a course about 12 miles offshore to Ship Island to explore Fort Massachusetts, followed by a short hop to a stretch known as shell beach that is popular for finding shells. Food is limited to a small concession near the fort, so packing a lunch is recommended. The third day explores Back Bay Biloxi with the potential to stop at places like Grasshopper Island, Cricket Island, Bacchus restaurant and bar, Captain Al’s restaurant and bar, and Oranatang’s Prop Stop bar. Only some stops will be included, and a few locations have limited space. Bacchus is noted as a convenient lunch option. Participants choose their own launch ramp. Lodging is up to each attendee, with nearby choices that include vacation rentals, campgrounds, and hotels. Daily mileage is planned at 60 or less, so additional fuel is typically unnecessary unless a ski has higher consumption, and the offshore segment is especially sensitive to conditions, which may prompt rearranging the order of rides.

Activities include make and take builds and the Minifig Bar, each available until supplies run out. Because supplies are limited, ticket sales will close once inventory gets low, and buying tickets in advance online is strongly encouraged. Tickets will be available soon. To make the most of the experience, purchase Brick or Treat tickets only for guests who plan to build, and use general admission for spectators. Activities begin right on time, so plan accordingly. This is among TrainTastic’s largest LEGO gatherings of the year, offering plenty of chances to build, play, and celebrate the season with a brick builder twist. Small pieces present a choking hazard and are not appropriate for children under three.

Horn Island Plein Air Day Trip

Spend a day painting outdoors on Horn Island, a federally protected wilderness on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This day trip is designed for artists who want uninterrupted time to observe, explore, and create in a truly wild setting. Participants travel by chartered boat to the island, then work at their own pace or alongside fellow painters while responding to changing light, wind, and terrain. Expansive horizons, dunes, maritime forest, and shoreline provide abundant subjects for those who paint from life. The outing includes round-trip boat transport to and from Horn Island, a full day devoted to self-directed plein air work, and the freedom to wander and make art within a protected landscape. Please note that this is not a class, so there are no demonstrations or instruction. Space is limited because boat capacity is finite, and all visitors are expected to follow Leave No Trace principles while on the island. This experience suits artists seeking quiet immersion, sustained focus, and a deeper connection to place, guided by the landscape rather than by formal teaching.
