MBar Sports Lounge partners with WMPR 90.1 and Southern Soul Media Group for a night dedicated to Southern Soul, featuring live performances in a lively, adult-focused setting. Admission is free, with two-for-one drink specials during happy hour, three dollar tacos, and half off select appetizers. Marlena of The Lounge Radio Show hosts, while DJ “Big O” 601 keeps the music flowing for plenty of dancing and good times. Birthday groups can reserve a VIP section by calling 601-473-5485.

Murry Burgess leads a talk on how artificial light at night, intensified by expanding urban areas, disrupts the journeys of migrating birds. The program shares current research on how birds navigate brighter night skies and offers practical ways people can reduce the impact of light on their travel. The Jackson-Hinds Library System BookMobile will be on site with bird-themed books that complement the topic, and before or after the program visitors can explore Jackson’s newest mobile library to find resources for readers of all ages.
Mississippi Museum of Natural ScienceDJ 042 Music Bingo
Enjoy an evening of food, fun, and Music Bingo hosted by DJ042. The game typically includes four rounds of play and features lots of prizes, including cash prizes. Admission is free to play, and the event runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the B3 Patio.
