The Pub Station, 2502 1st Ave North, Billings · verified Sep 18
    See details

Psychostick brings its humor-laced metal to the Pub Station Taproom with special guest Galactic Empire. Born from longtime friends who turned their love of heavy music into a band, Psychostick leans into self-described humorcore, pairing hard-hitting riffs and a high-energy show with joke-filled lyrics and playful stage antics. Their sound merges the weight and aggression associated with Chimaira, Machine Head, and Hatebreed with the comedic spirit of The Bloodhound Gang, Tenacious D, and Weird Al Yankovic. Galactic Empire delivers an instrumental, Star Wars cosplay heavy metal tribute to the music of John Williams. Early videos amassed more than 24 million views and drew national coverage from outlets such as Huffington Post, Guitar World, Entertainment Weekly, and MSNBC, along with a live TV appearance on E! during coverage of the 2016 Academy Awards. The group has toured extensively, headlining across Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia, appearing at major festivals, comic cons, and sporting events, and supporting arena acts Ozzy Osbourne and BABYMETAL. After two full-length releases on Rise Records, the band signed with Pure Noise Records in 2023 to release Special Edition, the third chapter in its Star Wars album trilogy. The upcoming CINEMETAL expands the concept with metal renditions of themes from franchises like Superman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Back to the Future, The Lord of the Rings, Batman, and Avengers. Etix is the only authorized ticketing outlet outside the Pub Station box office, and purchases from secondary sellers may be invalid and could result in refusal of admission.

Switchfoot brings the Forever Now Tour to the Pub Station Ballroom with special guest Anberlin. For nearly three decades, Switchfoot have built a global audience on emotionally charged songwriting and high-energy shows, selling over 10 million albums and more than five million concert tickets across 40-plus countries. Their fourteenth studio album, Forever Now, marks their first release in five years, a guitar-forward return produced by longtime collaborator Mike Elizondo that follows the narrative arc of a single day at the end of a life. The band highlights a renewed appetite for towering riffs, sing-along hooks, and expansive themes, while continuing their community work through the Bro-Am Foundation, which has raised more than $3 million to support at-risk youth in San Diego. The lineup features Jon Foreman, Tim Foreman, Boaz Roberts, Jerome Fontamillas, and Chad Butler. Anberlin add a powerful complement, bringing more than two decades of alt-rock intensity and a fiercely loyal following. Their album Vega is the group’s first in ten years from Stephen Christian, Joseph Milligan, Christian McAlhaney, Deon Rexroat, and Nathan Young, energized in part by Memphis May Fire’s Matty Mullins stepping in as live vocalist after Christian announced he would not tour full-time. With over 1.5 million albums sold in the U.S. and hits that include the No. 1 Alternative Radio single Feel Good Drag, the band continues to push forward with conviction and creative fire. A Switchfoot Standard VIP package is available in limited quantities and includes a general admission ticket, a preshow acoustic performance, a Q&A with the band, a group photo, a collectible tour poster signed by Switchfoot, a specially designed merchandise bundle, a commemorative VIP laminate and lanyard, and early entry. Raynes and David Wimbish & The Collection

The Pub Station, 2502 1st Ave North, Billings
    See details

Raynes and David Wimbish and The Collection take the stage in the Pub Station Taproom for an evening that pairs harmony-rich energy with openhearted storytelling. The British American trio Raynes began when North Dakota natives Mat Charley and Joe Berger discovered UK vocalist Mark Race on Instagram. After a few conversations he flew to the United States to start a band, even commemorating the flight number with a tattoo. Since then they have signed with Sony Music Publishing and released six singles and four EPs, amassing hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners and tens of millions of streams with press coverage in Billboard and People. Their live résumé includes BottleRock and a wide range of clubs, concert halls, and amphitheaters across the United States and the United Kingdom, where they have earned a reputation for high-energy shows. In 2025 their rendition of I Want You to Want Me appeared in an episode of Love Is Blind on Netflix. Expect a blend of layered vocal harmonies, distinctive instrumentation, and poetic lyrics that draw on folk, rock, chamber pop, Celtic influences, and sounds from around the world. David Wimbish, the singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist behind The Collection, returns with Heavy Love after a year marked by a breakup, a move from Saxapahaw to Asheville, a new relationship, becoming a father, and the devastation of Hurricane Helene. Friends went missing and there was no clean water for months, while his longtime band was falling apart, yet he found his way back to music and to himself. Now based in Richmond, Virginia, he crafted Heavy Love largely in the storm’s aftermath, writing, producing, and recording most of it in a studio he built at his parents’ home in North Carolina. Launched in his college years, The Collection has grown a devoted following on the strength of anthemic, stomp and holler energy, earnest songwriting, and deeply human storytelling. On Heavy Love he reflects on aging, heartbreak, fractured friendships, natural disasters, nonconformity, love as action, and existential uncertainty with vulnerable clarity. Etix is the only authorized ticketing agent outside of the Pub Station box office. Purchasing from secondary sellers such as StubHub or Facebook Marketplace can lead to fake or invalid tickets and may result in refusal of admission.
