Bling Your Book: Crystal Book Decorating Class

Transform a plain book into a glittering keepsake in a hands-on crystal embellishing class. Participants learn techniques for arranging and securing crystals to create anything from a subtle sparkle to a bold pattern, turning a favorite book into something personal. Bring a book you are ready to decorate. Tools and glue are provided for use during the session, along with a starter assortment of crystals and guidance as you plan and begin your design. The provided crystals are intended to help you get started, so fully covering a book in one session is unlikely, but you will leave with the skills and materials to continue at home. This experience suits book lovers, crafters, DIY gift makers, and anyone who enjoys a touch of shine. Ages 13 and older may attend on their own, while children under 13 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult and both need tickets. The class takes place at the Maker's Market Classroom, and the fee is $25 per person.

Many people appear strong on the outside while wrestling with inner pain. This two-day, faith-based mental health workshop offers a welcoming place for restoration, combining actionable tools for emotional and mental well-being with faith-led guidance from seasoned Christian counselors. Participants learn to navigate overwhelming emotions, move past discouragement, seek forgiveness and healing, and build resilience in mind and spirit. Individual sessions are available in limited slots, and there are tailored breakouts for men and women as well as tracks focused on family, identity, and grief. The first day features one-on-one appointments and a session devoted to caring for the soul, along with targeted breakouts for the Christian man, the Christian woman, family, identity, and grief. The second day turns attention to forgiveness and practical ways to face discouragement, all in a supportive setting where judgment is set aside. Female veterans are invited to a supportive afternoon centered on building strength, meaningful connections, and a sense of community. 2026 Atomic Circus

The Atomic Circus brings a lively, family-friendly science show to the Petro Theater, featuring explosive demonstrations, music, and plenty of wow moments. Admission is free, and seating is first come, first served, so arriving early is recommended.

Night at the Northern

Celebrating its eighth year, Night at the Northern is an adults-only fundraiser featuring a plated dinner with dessert, a no-host bar, music, and dancing. The event includes live and silent auctions with standout artwork created by Independent’s fifth and sixth grade classes. Tickets can be purchased through the school office, including by sending payment with a student for delivery to their teacher, and checks should be made payable to Independent PTA. All sales are final and refunds are not available.

Roaring 20's Murder Mystery

Step into a 1920s speakeasy for an interactive whodunit at Moss Mansion. Every attendee becomes a character, and any role could be tied to the crime. Dress to the era with flapper style, zoot suits, pearls, or fedoras, then enjoy dinner and drinks while gathering clues, navigating surprises, and working to solve the case. After purchase, an email confirmation will arrive, and about two weeks before the mystery a personalized character packet with costume guidance will be sent to the email used for the reservation. A mailed version is available upon request. Reservations are $100 per person. Attendance is limited, there are no paper tickets, no refunds, and no waiting lists. Maestra Anne Harrigan conducts the Orchestra, the Billings Symphony Chorale, and four featured soloists in her last appearance in the Classic Series at Alberta Bair Theater.

Litter Cleanup Near the Landfill

Bright n’ Beautiful and Public Works present a community litter cleanup focused on neighborhoods near the Billings Landfill. The day begins with a meet and greet with the Solid Waste Leadership Team at the Billings Operation Center, paired with coffee and donuts. After check-in, participants receive supplies and head out together to collect litter in the surrounding areas.

SHP Community Bed Build

Take part in a community bed build focused on providing children in Billings with a safe place to sleep. Volunteers will help construct beds for kids who do not have one, working together on a meaningful, hands-on project. 12th Annual Buckaroo Bike Rodeo

Enjoy a rare chance to hear Montana-based songwriter Jenna Greenwell live at Art House. A rising local talent with much ahead, she discovered her gift for songwriting shortly before turning 40 and shifted from a career in the church to focus on music. Her sound is shaped by Americana influences such as Lori McKenna, Brandi Carlile, and Jason Isbell, resulting in songs that carry grit and hope and invite listeners to let deep sorrow lead toward otherworldly joy. She is currently recording new music set for release in 2026. Her debut, Yellow Sweatshirt, is a five-track album produced by Karl Vincent Roth, born from a time of grieving the loss of a close friend in a car accident. The record blends pain and resilience and underscores the power of facing difficult seasons together. She performs across the Rocky Mountain region, both solo and with her band.

Gate to Stillness: Yoga Nidra

April Coffee Walk

At Pioneer Park, this recurring Sunday Coffee Walk offers a free, welcoming meetup for moms and women to move and connect on a stroller-friendly walk or run. Participants first gather at a local coffee shop to check in, lace up, and warm up. The group then heads out for about 45 minutes on a paved route that accommodates strollers, with everyone choosing a comfortable pace. Afterward, the meetup returns to the coffee shop to refuel and enjoy conversation, with coffee or snacks available for purchase. The event is open to all women in the community and suitable for every fitness level. Moms can bring children in strollers or come solo for some time to themselves. No F4M membership is required. 2026 Tour de Fleur

This annual advocacy ride celebrates the joy of cycling and the arrival of spring. The group sets out from the parking lot at Swords Park and travels 5 miles together, with options to shorten or extend the route along the Swords Park and Skyline Trail. Riders are encouraged to decorate their bikes with flowers for a festive touch. People of every age and skill level are welcome. Every participant must wear a helmet and sign a waiver. If weather conditions are poor, a make-up date will be announced.

R&B Brunch Party

An R&B brunch party at The Windmill & Bar 51 blends great food with an upbeat soundtrack as DJ Nikita spins while guests dine. The experience includes a raffle perk for everyone, with a ticket for each guest and a chance to win a Windmill basket. Space is limited, so reservations are recommended.

Calm Within | The Sunday Edition APRIL

This extended Calm Within session runs for 90 minutes and is co-led, beginning with a grounding hatha yoga practice and closing with a 30 minute yoga nidra, a sleep-based guided meditation. Framed as a mini retreat for full schedules, it reflects the way the guides first taught together and offers unhurried space to reset. Many participants find it supports better sleep, eases anxiety and physical tension, and provides practical tools for nervous system regulation to use beyond the mat. It is open to both newcomers and experienced practitioners. All props are provided, including mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps, eye masks, and memory foam neck supports, so just bring yourself. Capacity is limited to 10 spots, and the cost is $16.

Getting Ready for Baby - Expectant Parent Class

Expectant parents can build confidence through a six week prenatal education series that explores pregnancy, preparation for labor and birth, newborn feeding, and the early days of parenting. Pregnant participants are welcome to attend with a birth support person, and there is flexibility to take the full series or choose only the sessions that matter most. Registration is required for each class you plan to attend. Only one parent needs to register, and that registration counts for both. Attend in person or participate live from home through a virtual link sent by email after registering. In person sessions take place at the Mansfield Center in Yellowstone Medical Center West on the lower level, with entrances on the southwest side near the circular drive and flagpoles. Parking is available in the garage at no cost.

FIT4BABY with Arrow Pelvic Health

FIT4BABY returns to Billings with a six week prenatal fitness and education series built to support strength and confidence throughout pregnancy. Sessions pair workouts tailored for pregnancy with birth preparation and pelvic floor education, plus nutrition guidance from a Registered Dietitian. It also offers a welcoming community of expectant mothers who are in a similar season. Space is limited.

Monday Evening Road Ride

Wheel Thrown Bowls

Explore wheel throwing from the ground up with Cerington Jones at Yellowstone Artist Co-op, a space with communal resources for potters. This beginner course covers the core techniques of centering, opening, and pulling, guiding you from a raw lump of clay to a functional bowl you make by hand. The emphasis is on getting comfortable with the wheel and understanding how clay moves, leading to a finished piece that works for daily use, gifting, or display. After you throw your forms, you will select glazes, and the finishing and firings will be taken care of for you. Each participant has two pieces included for bisque and glaze firing, with the option to fire additional work for a cash fee paid at the end. Clay, tools, and firings are included. Wear clothing that can get messy, and keep fingernails short to make shaping easier. Enrollment is limited to four students. Completed pieces will be available for pickup at Crooked Line Studio after the glaze firing, and notifications will be sent when they are ready.

RED Friday & Yellowstone Valley Gives WATCH PARTY!

High energy, strong community spirit, and a focus on impact set the tone at Canyon Creek Brewing as the monthly RED Friday gathering from Veterans Navigation Network becomes a Yellowstone Valley Gives watch party. Veterans, their families, supporters, friends, and community partners can share laughs, build camaraderie, and watch giving totals rise during the final hours of the region’s biggest day of giving while the organization moves toward its annual funding goal. The Chase Hawks Memorial Association hosts a donor celebration focused on community, storytelling, and philanthropy in support of families facing crisis throughout the region. 1st Annual Salsa Festival

Wild Rose - Teen Night

The Trail to Oregon

An All-American family heads west in a musical parody of The Oregon Trail video game series. Created by Starkid Productions with music and lyrics by Jeff Blim and a book by Jeff Blim, Matt Lang, and Nick Lang, the show first ran in Chicago in the summer of 2014. Audience participation is central, with the crowd suggesting character names and ultimately deciding which character dies at the end. The production features 12 educational songs, a set designed to mirror the trail’s landscape, and appearances by historical figures such as Henry McDoon, Cletus Jones, and Cornwallis. Three Dog Night

Three Dog Night performs at Alberta Bair Theater with a career spanning six decades. Formed in 1968 by Irish-born Danny Hutton, the band was built around three lead vocalists whose shared leads and blended three part harmonies, supported by four instrumentalists, became its hallmark in the studio and on the road. The group has achieved 21 consecutive Billboard Top 40 hits, including three number one singles, and 12 straight RIAA Gold LPs. By 1975 they had sold more than 50 million records with songs such as "One", "Easy to Be Hard", "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)", "Joy to the World", "Black and White" and "Shambala". They continue to play more than 80 shows each year, presenting these songs with their signature harmonies over a rock and roll foundation. Three Dog Night will release Enter, the first new studio album in nearly 40 years, created with Bill Cooper from the original production team and featuring material written by Hutton, recorded at Canyon Hut studios next to Hutton's Laurel Canyon home purchased from Alice Cooper more than four decades ago.

34th Annual Boat-Bike-Gear Swap 2026

Now in its 34th year, this Boat-Bike-Gear Swap brings together a wide range of used boating, biking, and outdoor equipment in one secure, fenced sales area staffed by Sunshine Sports, the Spoke Shop, the Beartooth Paddlers, and experienced volunteers. Sunshine Sports serves as an intermediary, connecting sellers and buyers so the sale runs smoothly. Sellers check in items during the week leading up to the event or on the morning of the swap and pay a per-item handling fee. Display areas include carpeted sections to protect composite canoes, touring craft, and other delicate boats, along with racks to showcase bikes. Sellers are not required to stay on site, although being present can help items sell. All unsold gear must be retrieved at the end of the day, and many purchases tend to happen early. Buyers can pay with cash, checks, or credit cards. Checks are written directly to the seller, and an ID is required for check or card purchases. Credit card transactions are processed by Sunshine Sports with a 6% fee, and proceeds are mailed to the seller. A cash machine will be available. Unsold items and proceeds must be picked up on the day of the swap. Unclaimed gear is subject to a $10 per day storage fee and may be donated if not retrieved within 7 days. At check-in, sellers can choose to donate any items that do not sell. Sunshine Sports does not charge a commission, but there is a cash handling fee per item based on its price, starting at $1 for items priced up to $10 and scaling to $50 for items priced $3000 and above, with intermediate tiers of $2, $3, $7, $10, $20, $30, and $40 tied to increasing price ranges. All proceeds from the swap are donated each year to a good cause. A full weekend of live poker unfolds at Stars 'n' Stripes Lounge & Casino with three No Limit Hold'em tournaments and a multi-flight Main Event. Calm Within | The Sunday Edition MAY

Set aside 90 minutes for a co-guided Calm Within session that blends a grounding hatha yoga practice with a 30 minute yoga nidra, a sleep based guided meditation. Designed as a micro-retreat, this extended format suits busy schedules when a weekly class, weekend retreat, or full day workshop is not possible. Participants often report better sleep, eased anxiety, reduced physical stress, and practical techniques for nervous system regulation to use beyond the mat. Open to newcomers and experienced practitioners alike. Mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps, eye masks, and memory foam neck supports are provided. This mission-driven gathering emphasizes accessibility, impact, and inclusion, and sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and community partners who want to uplift voices and give back.

2026 Montana Renaissance Festival

Returning to Billings at the MetraPark Fairgrounds, this immersive celebration gathers knights, pirates, fair folk, and revelers for a full weekend of Renaissance adventure. After welcoming more than 20,000 attendees in 2025, it stands as the largest Renaissance festival spanning six states, with even more to experience. Feel the ground shake as The Order of Epona Jousting presents full-contact jousts and feats of arms. Watch the skies during Raptors Return’s aerial demonstrations. Across the village, steel rings in combat displays while musicians, comedians, and roaming characters keep every lane lively. New to the festival, the Hope Falls Vaulting Club showcases remarkable strength, balance, and horsemanship. With hundreds of shows across nine stages and more than fourteen performance areas, there is always something happening wherever you wander. Witness the Royal Coronation of Queen Hyacinth and meet the newly assembled Royal Court. Answer the call of the sea with Black Betty’s Sea-Rogues as Pirate Queen Gwyndolyn invites brave souls to take the Pirate’s Oath, walk the plank, and earn an official eye patch. Families will discover plenty of magic in the Fairy Induction Ceremony, the Costume Contest, the Knighting Ceremony, and a host of hands-on activities for young adventurers. Come hungry for thousands of the festival’s famed turkey legs, hearty fare, sweet treats, and tavern favorites. Explore a bustling marketplace featuring more than 180 vendors with handcrafted wares, artisan goods, and unique treasures. Tickets are available as daily admission and weekend passes for adults, seniors, military, and children, with a Family Pass offered at the gate only. Online purchases include required platform service fees, and the Family Pass remains gate-only so more of the cost goes toward the experience.

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) group classes

Billings dog owners can enroll in AKC Canine Good Citizen group classes from Barks & Rec at Pura Vida Studio. The program runs as a series of six Sunday sessions, with a break for one weekend. The small group format is offered, and certification is included. The fee is $150 per dog. These classes are best suited for dogs that have a basic comfort level in public settings. If you are unsure whether your dog is ready, contact the organizer to discuss readiness. Space is limited.

Eli Young Band brings its modern country sound with a Texas-rock kick to the Pub Station Ballroom for a live performance. The concert has been relocated to the Downtown Billings Skate Park from ZooMontana, and all previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new venue. The Dead South is a four-piece acoustic group from the Canadian prairies with a sound that blends elements of bluegrass, Americana, country, folk and western into something distinctly their own. Expect crisp banjo, quick mandolin work and tight three-part harmonies, paired with storytelling that leans into timeless themes like murder ballads, betrayal and ghosts, delivered with a playful touch. Their fan community, known as Good Company, often embraces the band’s signature look and brings together people from many backgrounds. LBHFF 2026 - 150th Anniversary of the Little Bighorn Film Festival

A three day film festival commemorates the 150th anniversary of Little Bighorn, hosted at ArtHouse Billings. The program centers the Allied Tribes, the Cheyenne, Lakota, and Arapaho, honoring those who endured and those who gave their lives for freedom, and it highlights Native films and stories. The lineup features documentaries, shorts, and narrative features, plus special presentations, with some selections connected to Montana artists. The festival coincides with battlefield focused activities that same weekend. Its aim is to uplift Native pride and promote accurate cultural and historical education about this crucial moment in shared history and the ongoing resilience of the Allied Tribes. Presented by ArtHouse Billings, with sponsorship from the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, Sky Bear Media, the Native American Development Corporation (NADC), the Windrose Fund, and Contender Independent LLC. Festival artwork is by Brent Learned, Cheyenne and Arapaho. It is intended to be accessible and welcoming to everyone.

35th Billings Strawberry Festival (2026) [Official]

Presented by Downtown Billings and Visit Billings, this long-running community tradition is the largest vendor street festival in Billings. It launches the summer season in the heart of the city’s urban core, where more than 120 merchants line the streets with a broad mix of arts and crafts, the aromas and flavors of food trucks serving everything from French crepes and noodle bowls to barbecue, and lively street entertainment. Activities take place beneath Skypoint in downtown Billings and offer something for all ages. Admission is free. The event is supported by Montana Brewing Company along with TDS Fiber, Seed of Life, Heenan & Cook, Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country, My Classic Hits 105.9, Planet 106.7, 98.1 KBEAR, 94.1 KSKY, ESPN 910, and The Zone 96.3, and is coordinated in partnership with the Downtown Billings Business Improvement District.

This playful 5K turns every step into kid-at-heart fun, making room for laughter and lighthearted moments along the way. It is a joyful celebration in motion that encourages participants to smile, play, and rediscover a youthful sense of wonder.

Camp Half Blood

At Moss Mansion, the museum and grounds transform into Camp Half-Blood for a week of adventures inspired by Percy Jackson. Young heroes spend the session training for quests and exploring Greek mythology. Agility challenges, brain-teasing puzzles, creative crafts, scavenger hunts, and games help build skills for the journey ahead. This program is designed for kids ages 10 to 14. Each session runs for one week. Capacity is limited to 24 campers per session, and registration with full payment is processed on a first come, first served basis. All materials are provided. Participants need to be able to climb stairs, follow instructions, and work independently. Activities take place both outdoors and in spaces that may not be air conditioned, so dress appropriately and note any sensitivities, allergies, or other considerations on the registration form.
