2026 Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

Support the mission of the Great Falls Scottish Rite Language Clinic at a fundraising spaghetti dinner that also features a silent auction, a 50/50, and a travel raffle for $3,000. Dinner costs $15, and children under 6 are free. Meal tickets can be purchased in advance at the clinic, at the door, or online. Travel raffle tickets are $20 and available at the clinic and during the event. Takeout meals are available with convenient upstairs pickup.

Minis Classes

Designed for young dancers, this Minis class helps children feel comfortable in the studio while staying engaged and having fun. It is open to ages 3 to 7 with tuition of $45 per month. One spot is already filled, and another class is planned to offer more variety. There is also a Minis team for ages 4 to 7 at $60 per month that will take part in in-town competitions. The focus is on a supportive space where little dancers can grow, move, and express themselves.

Author Talk with Russell Rowland: Be a Man: Raised in the Shadow of Cowboys

Montana writer Russell Rowland visits GFPL to talk about his latest memoir, Be a Man: Raised in the Shadow of Cowboys. Drawing on a ranching lineage that includes a mother raised in southeastern Montana, he examines how Western upbringing influences ideas of masculinity. He reflects on family patterns and the conflicting messages men receive from the media, and how these forces shaped his responses to disappointment, anger, depression, and other challenges. He also shares the steps he took toward healing through recovery and therapy. A fourth-generation Montanan, Rowland is the author of six books, a teacher, and a radio and podcast host. Copies of his book will be available for purchase.

EOS Spring Annual Fundraiser Performance

Expressions of Silence, the performing group at the Montana School for the Deaf and the Blind, hosts its annual spring showcase with a silent auction in the Mustang Center. SCHEELS teams up with Kevin Heffernan of Trinity Concealed Carry to offer a concealed carry permit training class. Community Clean Up Day

This Community Clean Up Day gathers volunteers at Belt Park to pick up supplies and receive area assignments, then head out to care for the community. Belt Valley Chamber is partnering with NeighborWorks Great Falls, Belt Park and Rec, and Belt VFW to support the effort. Lunch is provided for all volunteers. Friends and family are welcome, and bringing a pair of gloves will make the work easier.

Tuition is $45 per month for ages 3 to 7. A Minis team is also forming for 2027 for ages 4 to 7, with a monthly cost of $60, and will take part in local competitions. Country artist Kameron Marlowe takes the stage at The Newberry with gritty, soulful vocals and a high energy show. Having performed alongside Morgan Wallen and Riley Green, he brings a set featuring songs that have climbed the charts and plenty of live-wire momentum.

A cooking-centered support group where participants prepare food together and talk openly about life’s highs and lows. The focus is on connection through shared time cooking and conversation about everyday challenges and wins.

Choose a small flower arrangement with coffee, or a tumbler with a single rose and a coffee card. Moms who book and pay in full are entered into a Mothers Day giveaway. Gift certificates or punch cards are not accepted for this event, but they can be used for a separate studio session with the same backdrop.

2nd Annual Bison Blue Rendezvous

The second annual Bison Blue Rendezvous returns to support the Great Falls High Bison football team at Rendezvous at 410. The event features a reverse raffle awarding a $5,000 grand prize, with numbers drawn bingo style until one remains. Attendees can explore a silent auction, bid in a dessert auction, enjoy appetizers from Enbär, and purchase drinks at a cash bar. Tickets are $50 in advance or $75 at the door. A second chance buyback is available for $25 in advance or $50 at the door to put participants back in the running if their number is called early. Tables for eight are available for $600 and include first round buybacks. J. Carmichael

Songwriter and mandolin player J. Carmichael appears at Mighty Mo Brewing Company with ballads that explore love, faith, and a world in turmoil. A rebellious thread runs through his music, shaping how he writes, the instruments he favors, and the subjects he tackles. His influences span widely, shaped by Nashville Now alongside 90s punk and indie, and by master songwriters across styles. He is equally at home at a fiddle festival, a punk show, or in a Nashville writers room. He has released three full-length albums and several EPs. Earlier in his career he recorded and performed from Washington State to Texas, opening for Lucero, Tumbledown with Mike of MxPx, Scott Biram, and a then rising John Moreland. After stepping back from the stage to serve communities in Idaho and Washington by driving ambulances and fighting wildfires, he returned to the road with new songs and plans to keep sharing them in the years ahead.

Parents Forever Co-Parenting Class

This one-day co-parenting class is designed for parents navigating separation, divorce, or other family changes and focuses on building a cooperative approach that centers on children’s needs. Participants receive practical guidance on communicating effectively with a co-parent, lowering conflict and handling disagreements constructively, and understanding how transitions affect children at different ages. The session also covers ways to support children’s emotional well-being, keep routines consistent across two homes, solve common co-parenting challenges, and set healthy boundaries while remaining respectful. The cost is $20 per parent, and each parent must complete their own registration. In many situations courts or judges ask both parents to complete this class, so participation from both is encouraged, though a single parent attending can still gain tools that benefit the entire family. Attendees leave with actionable strategies and greater confidence in working together, even while living apart.

FNL Team Roping

The Friday Night Lights Team Roping Series features two ropings that run together, with a #11 and a #9 incentive. Entry is $50 for a draw, and you may enter up to six times. The #11 is on a three head average and the #9 is on two. Teams are capped at 11.5, with 1.5 seconds per number added or deducted. All catches advance to a second round, and the top 20 return for a short go on three head. Buckles are awarded to the winners of the #9 on two head. A kids barrel race for ages 12 and under takes place before the short go. The entry fee is $5 with 100 percent payback. Cash is preferred, and there are no concessions. Optional pre entries are accepted by text at 406-278-3294. Include your name, whether you head or heel, the number of entries, and whether you are entering the first or second roping. Unpaid entries will be drawn out. All ropings are weather permitting, and updates are shared on Facebook. There is a $45 prize fee per roper. The highest association classification applies, and GFSC may renumber any roper at any time without notice. June Summer Art Camp (Grades 2-6) | Art Around the World

Art Around the World is a weeklong summer camp for students in grades 2 through 6 that blends creative projects with time outdoors. Each day focuses on a new region, guiding young artists through hands-on work inspired by North American Native and folk traditions, African patterns, textures, and rhythm, European art from classical to modern, Asian approaches using ink, nature, and symbolism, and a South America and Oceania celebration to finish the week. The experience encourages curiosity, exploration, and active fun alongside artistic discovery. Families should send a packed lunch each day. Tuition is $250, and enrollment is limited to 15 participants. Instruction is led by Elizabeth (Liz) Slot, who holds a bachelor’s degree in K-12 art education from Kendall College of Art and Design, teaches elementary art during the school year, and enjoys working across a variety of mediums to inspire young creators.

Ardie Fay foundation Presents: Saving Abel

The Ardie Fay Foundation and Jerry’s Saloon present a live performance by Saving Abel in Fortine, Montana, with support from up-and-coming Tennessee country artist Brandon Jordan. Saving Abel, from Corinth, Mississippi, is known for fusing Southern flair with a post-grunge edge and big, memorable hooks. The band rose to prominence in 2008 with its self-titled debut and the hit single Addicted, which reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned Platinum certification. Pre-sale tickets are available, and sponsorship or vendor opportunities are offered through the organizers.

Dragon's Tear - SSW

Roused from slumber, the Dragon challenges the Shire of Stan Wyrm to crown new champions. The day features armoured and rapier tournaments open to all competitors, plus classes, an artisan table, and a luncheon. The site is discreetly damp, and pets are not permitted inside the building. Adult event registration is $25, adult member registration is $15, and attendees 17 and under are guests of the Shire. Luncheon is available for $10, with reservations coordinated through the feast steward. The event steward is Bianca da Monte, and the feast steward is Morgan the Bald.
