Every Friday features Toddler Round Up, an active meet-up for young families. A celebration marking Hometown's sixth year brings an evening of fun, live music, and community. The night includes live tunes, food and drinks available, and yard games. Friends, family, and fellow campers can spend time together.

Karen Mills delivers an evening of stand up shaped by three decades onstage. From the Grand Ole Opry to tours with Leanne Morgan and a spot on The Talk, she brings quick wit and down to earth stories that feel familiar. After an ovarian cancer diagnosis in 2013, she chose hope and humor, later sharing that outlook in a 2016 TEDxChattanooga talk about finding laughter in the face of illness. Long before comedy, she left a legacy on the court, leading the nation in assists in 1981, becoming UT Chattanooga’s first Division I First Team All American and the first UTC athlete in any sport to earn that recognition, with her number 12 retired and induction into Chattanooga’s Basketball Hall of Fame.

Surry Country Parks and Recreation and Surry County Health and Nutrition partner for the 4th Annual Glow in the Park 5K and Concert at Fisher River Park. This safe, family friendly celebration comes together with support from local businesses, nonprofits, churches, organizations, and volunteers. Giant trucks take over the Ship for a full-scale spectacle featuring side-by-side racing, a best trick showdown, and high-energy freestyle. The Pit Party opens the course for close-up views of the machines and a chance to meet the drivers. For an additional fee, guests can ride in a real monster truck during the Pit Party and again after the main program. A photo opportunity lets attendees sit in the cab of a competing truck during the Pit Party and capture their own picture, with fees applying. Families can look forward to mini monster trucks and a Kids Power Wheels exhibition. Parents may bring a Power Wheels vehicle up to 24 volts so their child can drive on a portion of the actual track. Advance tickets are available, with general admission priced at $15 for children ages 2 to 12 and $30 for ages 13 and up. VIP tickets are $40 for all ages in limited quantities and include early entry to the gate and Pit Party along with free parking. Trackside parking and viewing is offered at $150 per vehicle and provides a dedicated space where you can bring your own food and drinks. Event admission is not included with trackside parking.

Miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley, and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, setting him on a path to redemption over a single Christmas Eve. The stage version draws its score and book from the 1970 film Scrooge, which starred Albert Finner, and from Dickens' 1843 novella, with many of the film’s songs carried into the production.
