    Old Crow Medicine Show

Carolina Theatre of Greensboro, 310 S Greene St, Greensboro · verified Oct 11
    See details

Old Crow Medicine Show takes the stage for an evening rooted in the band’s long road from street-corner performances to major accolades. Formed while busking in 1998 and traveling from New York state into Canada, the group later drew the attention of Doc Watson in Boone, North Carolina while playing outside a pharmacy, which led to an invitation to MerleFest and a fast-rising career. Since those beginnings more than two decades ago, the band has been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, earned two Grammy Awards for Remedy and Big Easy Express, and seen Wagon Wheel reach RIAA Double-Platinum status in 2019, with their debut album O.C.M.S. certified Gold. Their most recent release, Jubilee, arrived in August 2023 on ATO Records and received a Grammy nomination. NPR Music has recognized the group’s continuing creative spark. The show features an opening set by Palmyra, an acoustic folk trio. Doors open one hour before show time. Ticket options include $120.00, $94.75, $74.75, $54.75, and $44.75, depending on location. VIP packages are available, including the OCMS Front Row VIP Package with a front row ticket, a meet and greet with a personal photo opportunity, a commemorative VIP laminate and an autographed exclusive gift, early access to the merchandise table, and priority entry. A Premium Seat VIP Package offers a seat in the first five rows along with the meet and greet, photo opportunity, commemorative laminate, autographed exclusive gift, early merchandise access, and priority entry. The OCMS VIP Fast Pass includes a seat in the first six rows, an autographed exclusive gift, early merchandise access, and priority entry. VIP pricing is listed as $270.00 for VIP1, $220.00 for VIP2, and 180.00 for VIP3. A $5 processing fee, a $2.00 bump, and 6.75% North Carolina sales tax will be added to each ticket.

    New Music Tuesdays

Dictator Records, 1002 Westside Dr, Greensboro · verified Oct 11
    See details

Dictator Records is launching a weekly New Music Tuesday showcase that spotlights recording artists, producers, and other creatives. Each edition offers a curated environment to share finished tracks, test new material, or deliver a live set for active DJs, industry tastemakers, and local influencers who discover and champion new music. Built to connect talent with the people who can move careers forward, the series encourages immediate feedback, meaningful networking, and the possibility of standout songs finding their way into DJ sets and playlists. A small-scale format keeps the focus on the music so every participant is heard and supported, and capacity is kept limited to maintain a high-quality listening experience. This recurring gathering aligns with Dictator Records’ broader commitment to nurturing local music culture in Greensboro. By providing a consistent touchpoint for discovery, collaboration, and promotion, it serves performers, DJs, and music professionals across the region.
