The venue offers a wide range of beverages, including bubbly, red, white, rose, orange, and green wines, local beers on tap and by the can, hard seltzers and ciders, THC-infused options, and soft drinks. A craft cocktail bar next door allows drinks to be enjoyed in either space. Food on site is limited to chips and pre-packaged meat and cheese platters, but outside food is welcome, whether snacks or a full meal. Nearby choices include the Frasketta Pizza Romano food truck for gourmet pizzas and Sushi Suyu, along with many restaurants on Salem Street. The gathering is open to Triangle Freethought Society members, friends, supporters, and anyone curious, with no membership required. Parking is tight at the front, but there are free lots behind the venue and a larger free lot nearby that includes EV charging when available. This event is sponsored by the Triangle Freethought Society. It is open to the public, but it is not a venue for evangelizing, and discrimination is not tolerated. Discover the calming practice of Zentangle in a welcoming basics workshop at Adventures in Bloom with instructor Jennifer Seiger, CZT. This introductory class presents a simple, mindful drawing method developed by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, inviting participants to slow down and create small works of art through easy, repeatable strokes. No prior art or meditation experience is required. Over the course of two hours, everyone will complete at least one tile and explore a creative routine that supports focus and relaxation. All materials are included, and each participant takes home a kit so the practice can continue afterward. The kit comes with a branded drawstring bag, five tiles, a Micron pen, a pencil, a sharpener, and a tortillon for blending. A $5 Adventures in Bloom store credit is included and can be used during the workshop. One ticket is required per person. Attendance is limited to 12 participants with a minimum of 8. Guests are welcome to bring drinks, including wine or beer, and snacks. As the Zentangle motto says, “Anything is possible, one stroke at a time.”
