Sunrise Spin: Morning Wheel Workshop

Ease into the day with a pottery wheel workshop that blends clay, a cozy coffee vibe, and creative focus. Class size is capped at six participants, so everyone receives hands-on instruction and individualized guidance. Beginners are welcome, and those returning to the wheel after time away will find a relaxed, encouraging setting to get back into the groove. For comfort and safety, avoid dangling jewelry, loose sleeves, and flip flops, since studio floors can be slippery. Tie back long hair, and note that very long nails can make throwing more difficult. Wear comfortable clothes and expect a bit of mess, as clay rinses out easily. Aprons are provided, or you may bring a towel. This workshop is open to ages 10 and older, and no prior experience is required. An instructor will help select your strongest pieces for kiln firing. Finished work will be glazed, fired, and ready for pickup in about 2 to 3 weeks. Seating is limited. No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours are forfeited.
